It lasts two weeks??
I'd been using Polyglaze tyre paint on my Commodore tyres to try to protect them from the sun for the last 18 months or so. I'd say the Polyglaze probably lasts up to three months (I don't drive my car much at the moment though) with a couple of applications. I thought I might try Armour All this time and paid $10 for the spray can. The instructions say that it should dry in ten minutes, but when I checked it later and then the next day, the sidewalls still have this oily residue on them that comes off on your hand... Polyglaze is water based s...Read more
o it's pretty easy to wash off your hands and a brush - some people obviously might not like painting their tyres, but I rather like it - particularly given the time it lasts. A mechanic minded friend of mine said the Armour All 'conditions' the tyres, but it looks like it's going to pick up a lot of dirt and wash off... I've used Armour All before on a car dashboard and assumed that it would not have this oily film anymore (that was over 20 years ago). Oh well.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Tyres look like new
Gives tyres a good look and seems to last a while without having to re apply to often. I found it lasted around 2 weeks, but I'm not an as heavy driver as most. I had trouble getting the foam to spray at first, but keeping the cap all clean works a treat.

Easy to use tire shine
I bought a can after realising my tires are pretty dry and looked pretty ordinary - after my car sits outside in a hot concrete based car park most days. I normally used Eagle One tire gloss which was really painful to use as it required a sponge and two hands that ended up completely blackened with their product and tire grime, it also did not get into all the nooks and crevices on the tires shoulders.
I bought the can of Armor All Tyre Foam with mixed emotions about its effectiveness as it doesnt sell well at all at work / if not at all. I...Read more
think I was the first person in 2 years to buy a can from the amount of dust on the tin's lid... I got the Tire Foam onto the tires relatively easy, it sprays on with a circular pattern and covers well enough to not overspray too much of the surrounding areas of the car, I used a arking 1/4 of the tire application motion. I got it over the tires (5) and let it soak into the rubber overnight and well into the next day to see how good the results were to be shown. There is some apparent drippage off the tires onto the concrete which has stained the concrete (hoping it washes off with degreaser!), this should be taken on board that the foam dissolves and carries grime away off the tire with it onto whatever surface the car is sitting on. The tires look like a million dollars with minimal effort (wish I could upload some pic's), which I resented doing with the Eagle one product from day one - the Armor All Tyre Foam also took maybe 1/5th the time to apply than the Eagle One product... This can may last 3 goes on my Suzuki Jimny 5 tires (including the exposed barn door 4WD - which I sprayed on the outer upper side also), tire size 205/75R15. How long the tire shine will last in adverse conditions like rain and sun its hard to know, however as it sits in the garage the tires look properly dressed to impress!1 comment

Well worth the money
After purchasing this some time ago, I found that this stuff is literally my first aid kit to cleaning the dirt off my allows as well as giving the rubber the shine it needs. I tend to wear rubber gloves, so that I don't get the foam onto my fingers if I spray too much out of the can.
I found it quite effective, and it does have a pleasant smell.
Price, Effective product; cleans my rims a bit.

I have used this product for ten years and have been very happy until the last time. A new can of tyre foam left a soft black sticky mess which sucked up dirt and brake dust to create a sludge which w... Read more
ent all over the rim, tyres and paint work. Took hours to clean it off. I have attempted to send them an email via their website but this has also failed. Wont be using this product again.I don't think I ever experienced any of those issues..

Great stuff if you're in a hurry
Normally I clean my tires and then apply blackener or shinener to them that needs to be put on with a cloth and rubbed in. With this stuff, after you've cleaned your car and the tires have dried, you just spray it on... and that's it. Just spray it on. I've been using it for years and I swear by it. It doesn't leave the tires looking 100% clean and if you're really doing a good detail job on your car and if your car is very fancy then you might want to go ahead and put in the extra work involved with some other product. But if you're like me an...Read more
d you would exchange 10% of the final quality for not having to put in 90% of the effort then this stuff is great. Sometimes a week or so after washing my car it still looks clean but the tires have dulled and look at bit dirty. One spray with this stuff and they look clean again and it lifts the overall appearance of the whole car back up to looking reasonably clean status. The only downside is that it can stain your driveway. The stain eventually wears off but it's best to just park the car somewhere else while you apply it. How long it lasts depends on the height of the sidewall of your tires, innit. And how heavily you apply it. I do tend to go through a lot of it and it's not cheap, but it's great for those days when you're feeling lazy. No muss, no fuss. Hardly even have to bend over long enough to put a knee on the ground. It's not cheap and it stains pavers.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Why when I use tire foam(looks good when applied) but let it rain and my tires turn rusty color? I will not use it any more. I am ashamed for people see this.

If you are driving around anywhere where there is red soil - particularly in the outback, this will stick to the foam. Maybe there's some other chemical on your tyres that's reacting with it. The only other thing is to contact the manufacturer to ask them...

or about 15 minutes, the tire shine had totally gone, now that the tires are dry I can see that the tires look dry again and that there is not one bit of tire shine left... This product may be good for dry environments, however if you see any water on the road expect for this product to completely wash off... Shame really!
