How heavy is the bike with and with out battery and I am struggling to find a bike rack that will work???

Bike is about 30kgs and battery about 4kgs. Most cross bars used on step through are only rated at about 18kgs. We use a Gripsport rack and they are fantastic although dearer that the tow ball ones from Supercheap. One option (not as secure) is to use the removable cross bar then add an good strap from the bike to body of rack reducing weight on the cross bar. Contact Gripsport https://www.gripsport.com.au/ for prices and options

Hi Liz, Thanks for your question. The best way to get any support on our bikes is to contact us direct on 1300 55 99 76 or email us at [email protected] or use the contact page on our website www.aseakoelectricbikes.com.au

To answer your question, however, depending on your model the bikes weigh around 28 - 30kg including the battery battery is around 4 kg depending on the model and capacity. The batteries can be easily removed to reduce the weight on a rack.

In our experience and from customer feedback, the best racks are those that support the bike from under the wheels. They generally handle the weight better, are easier to load and remove any issues you have with the frame shape which can make it difficult to hang, particularly if it is a step through design.

Some rack brands that we have had positive feedback on are Yakima, Fiamma or Thule. Each have varying types and price ranges to choose from and generally have local retailers available.

Trust this helps.

Hello Petch...
That sounds like a job for the bike shop. They would solve the problem in a flash and you have peace of mind knowing that the new cable has been properly fitted and adjusted. Happy Riding ! Peter

I dont
t think there is a fuse. If the motor won't run....
Check that the battery has a charge
Check that the cable and plug are securely seated into the battery. Give the plug a good wiggle and push.
If the motor still won't run you might need to have it checked out by a technician .... or contact Aseako. They are very quick on returning your queries and are generally very helpful. Check their web site for details.
I hope this helps

Yes i had this happen to me 3 times over approx. 3years and the cause is the the top gearing cog seems to crack under load which needs replacing. I wish there was a solution to this because its annoying.

I bought the bike in Brisbane, when moved to Melbourne was hit by rain, and now the bike is not working. when I turn on charging, it shows a full charge and when I turn on the acceleration, the power turns off completely. what could be the problem? I thought this bike water resistant.
