Avanti Jumbo Steak Knives

These knives are made of high grade stainless steel which is great for longevity and cleaning. They also have nice redwood handles which are triple riveted. The serrated blades cut through steak beautifully but are a bit thin and will bend/flex without much force.

Unfortunately the quality control is lacking.

My first set had 2x loose handles and the second set included 1x knife with a loose handle and one with the tip snapped off - unusual for a set in a heat sealed hard plastic package.

Overall the good ones do the job and the stainless steel is great for longevity - should never rust etc, just be aware that you could get defective knives among your set like I did - twice.
