I encountered the RWII (satin) at a local bistro and was entranced by it. Was so happy the maker name was on the knives so that I could track down the pattern and buy some. Fine drawn and beautifully balanced, this is one cutlery set that really does enhance the experience of eating.

is their a rw line that ismade in japan with a rose emblem on handles

I don't know about that. The two styles I have just have the rw and signature on the handle if the larger pieces.
The set i have has the two letters Rw as a signature i am not familiar with any of this designers work though it seems to be good quality their was a timber box but it had been destroyed by termites
