We purchased this to go around our wood heater as the hearth was an irregular size and with this product you can change how many sections you have in it. It works well and having a gate makes it very easy to put the wood in the heater. We like how it can be attached to the wall making the area completely child safe. The materials stand the heat well and never become so hot that it would burn a little hand. Excellent quality and worth every cent.

With an open kitchen and an irregular opening we had to look for options other than the normal baby gates.
