Is the city mini 2 compatible with the same bassinets and travel capsules as the city mini? if so, are the same adapters used?

Hi Donna,

The City Mini2 now has new adapter points, therefore we have a new bassinet and new adapters. I have attached the link to the bassinet for you. The City Mini2 comes with adapters for the baby Jogger City GO capsule or you can get adapters to attach a Maxi Cosi Capsule.

Good Morning, thank you for your message. The Tour 2 has only been safety tested with the wheels that come with the stroller. We don't have any replacement wheels.

Hello.
I have purchased a bassinette for my Baby Jogger City Select and when I have placed it into the pram frame, it doesn't sit flat, rather on an angle. Is this normal or is there a way I can change it to sit flat?
Thanks

Is there anyway of restoring colour to a sun faded patch on city mini double 2014? What is the pram fabric made from?

Hi Ester P.
Unfortunately there is no way of restoring the faded fabric. You could try to spot dye however we have never tested this so we are unsure whether it will work. The fabric consists of Nylon and Polyester.

Is the mini really suitable for all terrain? Am wanting to use it to take bubs for walk on pebble and rubble paths, grass etc

It does fine, But if you are regularly wanting to, i would suggest the city mini GT as the tyres pump for exactly that.

Thank you. No it won't be regularly. We have a hand me down yoyo... It's been excellent traveling, shopping centres and normal walking paths, just doesn't feel great on pebbly paths when I decide to do longer walking park trails. I don't want to get anything too big as I'm used to the yoyo and I read that baby jogger city mini is an all terrain and has similar one hand fold system like the yoyo

Baby Jogger
Baby Jogger C.Baby Jogger

Hi JLoriginal, The City Mini is not an all-terrain stroller. The wheels are made from EVA (Ethylene vinyl acetate) which is a type of plastic. We would suggest the City Mini GT, which is an all-terrain stroller with rubber foam filled tyres that cannot puncture!

No its not able to be clipped backwards, however if you use the adaptors to fit a capsule the capsule faces backwards. Hope that makes sense

I used it from when my son was a newborn didn’t have any issues, would lie it right back flat and had no issues you can also get adapters and fit compatible capsules too it and get bassinet attachments for newborns.

I used ours from new born. My son lay flat in it from day one and I still put him to sleep in it at 11m as he still lies flat in it. You can also attach a capsule to it with the adaptors, however I preferred to have my son in the pram over the capsule as he lay flat and slept better in the pram.

Mainly a water resistant (not water proof) soft plastic stuff I think but u may have to google that. I chose the black denim for mine and LOVE it. Its quite an unusual choice apparently and I haven't seen any other of the black denim ones. If I go out in the rain I use the rain cover.
