Hey everyone,
A friend of mine is giving me her duo3 pram as she no longer needs it. I am so excited for this as this was the pram I wanted while pregnant but couldn’t quite afford at the time. We ended up with the Jengo Panorama xt which I absolutely love but I couldn’t resist saying yes to getting the duo3. My only concern is - I have a Mazda 2 neo hatchback (2017). The Jengo fits in the boot perfectly (apart). I currently only have 1 baby whose nearly one so I’ll only be using one seat. Does anyone have a small car like mine who could give me some feedback? My friend has sent the pram already but I just want to see what I’m in for haha

Hi Katelyn!

Thanks for getting in touch and asking such a great question! I will attach a link that we have with Duo2 prams folded in various car boots and the dimensions. The Duo2 and Duo3 have the same folded dimensions!

Folded with seat on: L92cm x W60cm x H43cm

Please let me know if you need further help with this!

Im about to buy this pram for my 6month old and my 2.5yr old toddler (seat & seat) can anyone confirm how easy it is to fold into boot with 2 seats? And can you fold it with both seats attached?

Babybee
Babybee ·

Hi Ann,

To fold our DUO3 you will need to remove the seat in the lower position. The top seat can remain on the frame but will need to be in the forward facing position.

Alternatively the seats are super easy to remove and this will allow you jigsaw the parts around in your boot to maximise space.

Please get in touch if you have any other questions.

Cheers,
Shannon

Help!one of the back wheels on my sister's Duo2 keeps falling off! It doesn't click in properly, just falls out. It's not the wheel itself because we swapped them around and that side is still the problem. Nothing appears to be stuck inside the hole. The release button works fine until the wheel is in, in which case it doesn't click all the way out so the wheel isn't locked in. We need help! The pram is unusable :(

Can you use the duo 2 with only one seat for air travel?

Babybee
Babybee ·

Hi Joanna,

The Duo2 is too large to be taken on board for carry on, but if you are able to purchase a travel bag you can check the pram in! Please note that our Duo2 is not designed for air travel so any damage sustained on a flight is not covered under our warranty policy and we do not make a travel bag for the Duo range.

Kind regards,
Jess

I have just purchased a second hand duo 2, I did not notice at pick up but when I’ve used it for the first time one of the rear wheels came off while pushing. I have tried to get it back in but seems the clip is not coming all the way only when wheel is in - or wheel won’t go in far enough. What do I do to fix it? The other side is fine, I can’t see anything preventing it going in properly.
Thanks

I’ve just purchased a second hand Duo - I feel like this will be a silly question, but can the accessories be interchanged between the duo2 and the duo?

Babybee

Hi Jessica,

Most of the accessories and spare parts are compatible between all of the DUO models :)

Hello, my capsule adapter is stuck in the capsule!! It’s meaning I can’t use capsule in car.. I promise I purchased the matching adapter (maxi Cosi capsule) …

Babybee
Babybee ·

Hi Andie,

I am sorry to hear you are having an issue with your capsule adaptors! There are buttons that are a bit hidden in the fabric of the capsule on either side by the capsule handle. Those are the buttons to release the capsule from the adaptors.

If you need any more help please reach out to the Customer Service team on [email protected]

Is this suitable to newborn twins?

Babybee
Babybee ·

Hi,

Thank you for reaching out :)

The DUO2 can be used for newborn twins when used with bassinets or capsules. You would need to purchase the DUO2 in the double - seat and bassinet set and then add on an additional bassinet. Purchasing the DUO2 as a double means will you will have adaptors needed to use 2 bassinets. If you would like to use the DUO2 with 2 capsules then you will need to purchase 2 additional sets of capsule adaptors.

If you have any further questions please reply to this thread or email the customer service team at [email protected]

Natasha

Hi I brought a babybee duo second hand and I was just wondering if the seat Can come off the frame to be washed in the washing machine?

Babybee
Babybee ·

Hi Karly,

Our DUO seat can not be removed from the seat frame for cleaning.

To clean we recommend vacuuming up any dust and debris (like those biscuit crumbs that get everywhere!) or removing them with a dry dry tooth brush before spot cleaning with warm water and a mild detergent as required. We do not recommend submerging any part of your seat, bassinet, frame or basket and the excess water can damage the internal structures.

Feel free to email [email protected] if you need any further guidance.

Cheers,
Shannon

I have quite a tall two-year-old that will use the seat. Will she fit comfortably without the hood touching her head? This feels like the right pram for the arrival of our second baby but would have loved to sit my toddler in it first, before buying.

Babybee
Babybee ·

Hi Lucy,

Thank you for your question :)

The seat back height is 53cm. There is also a few extra centimetres under the seat canopy.

I recommend you check out the DUO2 on our YouTube channel. I have attached the link below. These videos really allow you to get a feel for the pram.

If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact us on [email protected]

I have a hour gemm capsule. However when going to slide capsule onto pram in any configuration it seems the pram is too wide and therefore can not fit the capsule onto pram.

Hi there just wondering if the seats are deep? My current pram does not have deep seats and I find it not comfortable or supportive for my son, especially when he was learning to sit up.

Babybee
Babybee ·

Hi Pamela,

Thanks for getting in touch!

Our DUO2 seats are 22cm deep. It might be worth measuring this against your current seat to compare.

We also have a great free 9 month return policy so if you do decide to purchase the DUO2 you can try it in your home and if it isn't a great fit you can send it back for free. You can see all the details here - https://babybeeonline.com/pages/returns

Cheers,
Shannon

Hi, does the Duo2 bassinet fold flat for easy storage? Thanks

Babybee
Babybee ·

Hi Carmen,

Thank you for your question.

The DUO2 bassinet cannot fold flat but it will lay flat.

Store the pram in a dry, well ventilated place.

Kindest,
Cheyenne.

How does this handle off road?

Babybee
Babybee ·

Hi Taylor,

Our prams have been designed for "urban living" so footpaths, shops and local parks are ideal surfaces. When it comes to off-road and uneven terrain they can definitely handle it, they just won't feel as comfy for you or bub as a 3 wheeled jogging stroller would with much larger wheels.

It's really the front swivel wheels that become the issue rather than the rear when you take a pram off road. And the same is true for all strollers with smaller front swivel wheels less than 17cm diameter (our DUO with front wheels of 23cm performs the best of our 3).

Our new Aeroglide wheels are made from a high-grade PU rubber that offers some of the cushioning that air tires do but without the maintenance and punctures. They're also resistant to fine gravel and small stones so they'll stay looking newer for longer and won't wear out anywhere near as fast as traditional EVA wheels.

I hope that's answered your question if you need anything else please don't hesitate to ask, we're here to help!

Kindest,
Cheyenne :)

Hello,
Is there a pram travel bag that the duo2 will fit into? We know we will be travelling overseas with a pram and want to make sure it’s protected when checked at the plane gates.
Thanks

Babybee
Babybee ·

Hi Kehara,

Thanks for getting in touch

The Babybee range is not designed for air travel simply due to the size and weight of 2-in-1 and double prams. Please note that damage sustained during air travel is not covered under our warranty policy. If you're able to, we would suggest purchasing a cheap, super lightweight option that you can check-in and not worry about it getting damaged. You'll find these for less than $100 at places like Kmart, Target or Big W.

There are several generic travel bag options available (mainly sold online) however they provide only cosmetic protection from scratches, they do not offer structural protection if another heavy object is placed on top of your pram or if it's dropped, thrown onto a trolley, or up against a wall for stacking.

If you do decide to take your Babybee, I'd be sure to check with the airline what damage (if any) they will cover as we get at least a few emails each month from airlines or customers wishing to get a quote for repair/replacement. I'd also wrap it in an old blanket or towels to protect it as best you can.

If there's anything else we can assist with, please let us know, we're here to help!

Cheers,
Cheyenne

Hi, wife and I live in NZ and are expecting our 1st child. Keen to take child on strolls in parks and do light trekking in gravel dusty roads [ not muddy]. We're looking for a stroller that does that and also urban living terrains. Will this fit our requirement?
