Great seat, just a bit tall
This is a great seat, it feels sturdy and secure, and doesn't budge when you are driving around. The buckles are also very easily accessible which is nice with a wiggling toddler. It has great safety ratings and is a good seat, my only gripe is that it is VERY tall (the wings) so it can only go in our ute and not my car.

Great value and baby loves it :)
First child so hadn't experienced a forward-facing seat until baby got out of capsule.
Initial impressions (have had it for 3 months now) are that: baby loves facing forward, padding is very comfortable, buckle easier to use that capsule.
Initially frustrated by the extra padding, but have since removed this as baby has grown. The material is very nice and surprisingly haven't noticed it sweaty. Not the easiest of things to keep clean though (but I guess that's a baby seat for you).

Compact and light
This is one of the cheapest capsules I saw on the market at $250 but it is a great little carrier. It's not all bells and whistles or really lux in the materials but it certainly does the job! I really love the tabs where you can store the seat belt clasp when not in use to make putting baby in really easy. They unfortunately broke though after about 3 months. We use an adaptor to connect it to our Valco Rebel q pram system which has been really convenient, especially when bubs got quite heavy and I couldn't lug him around at all.

Great Value and comfy for the kids
We have two of these in our 2009 Falcon wagon, with our 18 month old and 3.5 year old. These are great for the long trips we do, as the kids can fall asleep in them comfortably during the journey. Yes they are quite large, so it would be nearly impossible to find a car that can accommodate 3 wide in the back seat. Unfortunately, with #3 on the way, we are going to have to look to alternative options, however if you only have 2 kids, these are fantastic.

Will never buy again
I just had to replace the car seat only after buying it in 2011 because the buckle no longer works. One side won't click in yet the other side is fine. I was hoping it lasted more than 2.5 years! Terrible quality. Upon reading up on it it seems to be a common problem. I will steer clear from this brand in the future.

So easy to install and use
We bought this seat after using the safe n sound meridian (which we still use for our youngest). I picked it for the high CREP rating. Had it for a year now and It has been a great purchase. my partner and I prefer it to the safe n sound for the following:
- easier to install
- easier to get my son in and out of
- much easier to tighten the harness
- cheaper.
Only criticism is it is soo bulky but we have a large car so it doesn't matter. We will be buying another when ou youngest moves to forward facing.
Easy to install and use, price
It's on the larger side

Excellent, Saved my sons life!
We originally bought this seat as we have a very tall family. It was the only seat that looked like it was going to grow far enough with my son while we still obeyed child restraint laws.
Best thing I ever did!
A few weeks ago I rolled my car with my son and myself the only occupants. Not only did the chair do exactly as required, my son received not a bruise or scratch.
Of course we needed to dispose of that chair after the accident for fear of unknown damage, but visually you could not tell the forces that had been applied. I without a doubt will be replacing that chair with another Babylove Ezy Combo!
Suits a large range of children's heights, Does exactly what it is need for, saved my son from damage.

Great car seat
I bought this car seat for my daughter when she was 6 months old, because it would then last her until she was approx 8 yrs old. I also bought a safe and sound easy adjust for our other car at about the same time. My daughter seems very comfortable in it and sleeps soundly. The Safe 'n' Sound car seat has slightly thicker straps which seem to not get as twisted as the Babylove, but both are very difficult to tighten and loosen the harness through the adjustable clip. I find the harness buckle on the Babylove clips-in better, the Safe 'n' Sound ...Read more
needs both buckles to be in at the same time to click in (this is very hard to do with a wriggling baby). I found the Babylove car seat easier to use in getting my child in and our of her car seat because it is not as 'plush'. I have had to adjust the height of the harness once, which is a pain to do because the whole car seat needs to be removed to access the back. But this only needs to be done occasionally as the child grows. Easy to use, easy to install. Child sits comfortably and is safe. Straps get twisted easily. Difficult to tighten/loosen harness and adjust height of harnessSimilar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

A good combo seat
We changed to this seat when my boy was nearly a year old. He seems to like sitting in it and it tends to make him sleepy, which is good for me! I also read a lot of good reviews and it seemed to be better than some of the more expensive brands on the market.
The only thing I don't like is that I find it very hard to tighten the harness sufficiently. It seems to make the whole seat move.
Edited to add: It's a bit of a pain to adjust the strap height
looks comfy, makes my boy sleepy, good reviews, not too expensive
I find it hard to tighten the harness sufficiently

Terrific
Great car seat. My bub was 9 months when we started using it and she has been small for her age. I think this is the best seat on the market. The Safe and Sound ones are made by the same company and overpriced for branding in my opinion. The only thing I don't like is that you have to take the seat out to wash it completely and my bub gets car sick quite a lot.

Not much of a side view for kids
This is a good seat and I've been happy with it generally speaking, however the biggest issue is the side wings (which I know provide a safety benefit). My child can't see out his window well or see anyone in the back seat with him because the over-sized sides completely block his view. Part of the fun of being stuck in a car is watching the world buzz by out the window or playing games with a sibling in the back. It's a shame the new seat has taken that away.
Seems safe, comfortable and the drink holder is handy.
Over-sized side wings block the view to each side.

Good value booster seat
I have read all the reviews and decided to go ahead with this booster car seat.
It is a good value of carseat and the safety rate is 5 stars (if I am not mistaken).
The size of this carseat is bulky and I believe it is because your child can sit in this carseat until 6-7 years old.(that's the main reason I bought it!)
My child just love it and seem like she is happy with it.
So really no complaints about this seat.
comfy, able to sit until 6-7 years old
bulky

Very pleased with seat
I purchased this particular car seat as it received the best safety rating by CREP's for it's age bracket. It was on sale for $169 so very good value for money and will fit from 6 months to 6-8 years although I have bought it for my 2 year old. I wanted a car seat with an inbuilt harness but my child is quite large and was outgrowing his 0-4 years seat. The date of Manufacture was 2 weeks ago so it's nice to know that you are not getting a product that's been sitting in a warehouse for 12 months or more. The seat came with a short messy mat to ...Read more
go underneath which is a nice addition. It also came with 1 drink holder, the head pillow, shoulder pads on the straps and the padded insert which give the seat a very comfortable luxurious feel. The seat can either be upright or reclined but this cannot be done without removing the seat from the car as the adjustment is done behind the seat. The included harness can be used up to 4 years. Very impressed to see that the seat comes with a very long anchorage strap AND an anchor fitting for the car in case you do not already have one! The attachment clip has a VERSATETHER clip if you want to use a child harness (H Harness sold seperately) when they outgrow the included harness. A H Harness can be fitted with both lap belts and sash belts (will need a gated slide). Was about to comment that it would be nice to have a little pocket for the instructions as my other seats had but then I found one so very happy :-) Downsides are I don't think you would fit 3 across in the back seat of a small car as they are quite large. Other than that we love it, easy to install and Australian made. Fabric is Cold machine wash. All the extras, very plush and comfortable. Safety rating. Large seat.....check measurements if wanting to put 3 across. The recline feature might be annoying to some but happy to just fix in the recline position.2 comments

so far so good
our new car seat arrived yesterday I took it out of the box & put my 2yo in so i could see what height i had to adjust the shoulder straps to & i couldn't get her back out! she kept getting back into it every chance she got & i think she'll be disappointed when she wakes up from her nap & it's no longer in the lounge room. it is bulky & it was a bit of a tight squeeze getting it into the car (i have a mitsubishi magna sedan), but at least i know my daughter wont grow out of it any time soon. it made me so happy to see that she loves it & finds ...Read more
it comfortable. when my partner saw it he was suprised that for the way it looks & all the padding that it was so cheap i was going to get a safe & sound car seat but after reading the reviews for this seat & seeing it had such a high CREP safety rating (& was half the price) i soon changed my mind. unfortunately no one in the area stocked it but i bought one online & it only cost $208 including postage looks great, has a high safety rating, my daughter loves it, inexpensive a bit bulky, could be a problem if you have a small carSimilar opinion? Great for short while!
Bought due to the great price with features it provided. My daughter went into it from 6months, she was comfortable enough even though only has one recline position then upright. It is wide at the top. After one and half years harness not reliable as driving one day and found our daughter out the seat as it did not lock and has not locked properly since. Now looking to buy new seat due to safety and her managing to just pull harness out from buckle. And it only locking if both straps inserted at same time and straps checked, which difficult at ...Read more

I had the same problem. I contacted them and they sent me a new buckle. Great customer service!

I love it! Best car seat we have owned!
I love this car seat, I was always going to buy it but I bought a Safe and Sound instead when the sales assistant told me that they replace it if you are ever in a car accident. Then we needed a second seat for my mums car and we got this one. I love it, I love it more than the Safe and Sound and any other convertible booster seat I have ever come across.
I did realise how deep the sides were when it was in the store but they are which means when my son falls alseep he actually has something to rest his head against instead of it flopping aro...Read more

We bought this seat, in the Fruit Loop style for our 6 month old, due to it having the highest safety ratings Plus my baby can still use it up to when she's approx 7 yrs old! Installation only took less than 10 minutes - Very quick & easy installation!
Not only does it have high safety ratings, but the price was unbelievably lower than what we were expecting. Baby absolutely loves her seat and always falls asleep in it. my baby's in this seat and while I'm driving her around. It not only looks very safe with all of that soft padding surrounding her and keeping her very warm, but it actually Is as safe as it looks (or even safer, actually!) The seat is adjustable in a few ways, just to fit her Pefectly. There's also a cup/bottle holder and a small bag at the back to keep things in (such as a mobile phone or the manual, along with a pacifier or 2). All up, this seat wins the race for us! I will continue to use this seat for my next babies and will Only buy this model for all of my future sons and daughters. Highest safety ratings, great value for money, reclinable, comfortable, safe, fully adjustable, easy installation, reliable Quite bulky but that's not such an issue personally.Similar opinion? Wonderful
We hired a baby capsule and when my son grew out of that we put him in the Ezy Switch Combo. I love it. It looks really comfy, even now we have removed the extra padding, and even though he was only just sitting up when he started in it he was well supported. His head rarely drops forward when he's asleep. It's extremely sturdy and safe and will last until he can sit in the car without a booster.
It's bulky so slightly more difficult getting in and out of it, but it's well worth it for the extra safety.

Fantastic! Nothing else compares!
I love my Babylove Ezy Combo car seat. My son outgrew his 0-4 years seat when he was 1.5 years old so needed a much bigger one. We chose this car seat as it will last til he is 8 years old, has the safety rating and sells at a great price! It is has a great design on it, feels super comfortable and my son now loves going in the car. Best decision to buy this!
Affordable, reliable, super comfortable and best safety rating
I can not fault it at all!

what is the upper weight limit for using harness straps?
1 answer
Support C.Babylove
Hi Lisa, thanks for your question. The Babylove Ezy Combo has shoulder height markers, these are use to guide you for correct fitment. Height markers are the recommended reference in determining the correct child restraint for individual children. Whether it is rearward to forward facing, or determining the next stage child restraint. Age or even standing heights are an approximate guide. Kind regards, the Babylove team.
Suzie Kasked
Hi - I saw a review earlier that I can’t find now! It said there was an 18kg weight limit for this car seat- is that the case? Looking for my toddler but he’s already 15kg. Thanks!

Support C.Babylove
HI Suzie, thanks for your question. The current Babylove Ezy Combo car seat (2010/2013 series) isn't based on weight and you need to be guided by the shoulder height markers on the seat cover. Please feel free to give us a call on 1300 303 330 if you would like to discuss this with us in further details. Kind regards, the Babylove team.
