We have hust got the drum drop on our WT-H650. Any ideas on whether this requires repair call or not????

We called the repair man and he said it was OK. It is still working efficiently with the "drop".

So4y no Linda. Obviously you have the hot tap turned on, I as yet have had no issues with the machine.

Hi we replaced the pump when we had the same problem but then the PC board packed inn .. We now also replaced the PC board and machine seem to be working fine. Hope this help in order for u to make a decision. (Both were easy to be replaced my ourselves)

We have the same issue, we think it is the main board, PC Board. It's $250 plus to purchase, it really isn't worth it. The manufacturers are clever these days, they make them to typically not last like machine of years ago, 20 plus years. There's no money in making things last long, there's no money in that for them, but plenty of headaches and costs for the public. There should be a worldwide class action. They even make components break sooner, like spider arms in front loader washing machines. some brands of Samsung, they all go. Whirlpool the same, the boards all go in them at around 3 years old, even if the rest of the machine is in mint condition and been looked after. manufacturers are responsible for generating so must waste, not the metal, but the plastic, unless it can be recycled.

Hi it most likely the PC board. You can get one on-line and replace. LG never give any advice or help. The PC board causes the machine cycle error.

The same idea-try cleaning all the powder residue from underneath the lid or call tech support!!

Buy a new machine

You just need to check the door and mess around with the lock switches til it works. Try locking both switches first, if that dont work, lock one switch and leave the other, and if that don't work unlock both switches.

Just call the tech! They might have to change the lid. However, if you've got a steam cleaner you might want to try and get all the washing powder dust from under the lid, it might help!

Get rid of it. Buy a different machine

Don't know. The repairer who came to fix my machine was not at all helpful. Sell the machine and start again with something different. I did.

There are 2 screw covers on button panel pop off un screw and slide off

I have had the machine for quite awhile now so sorry, I wouldn't know.

You need to ask the retail shop where you bought it from. You should be in your purchase contract. Making sure you know how long is your warranty.

Sorry, can't really help with this one. It only happens to me if I forget to close the lid while the machine is filling up

This hasn't actually happened with my machine, sorry, I don't have any solutions or ideas,

I would get rid of it, trade it in.

I haven't really had a problem with the machine not draining after it runs its cycle, it only happened once or twice when the cycle was interrupted, possibly due to power outage or when the machine became unbalanced during the cycle, (which occurs often and is very annoying). If we are not there to re-balance it, it re-fills with water and after a couple of times just stops, (if you are not there when it is running its cycle and becomes unbalanced, this maybe one possibility why the machine has not drained). Other than that I am not much help sorry. Good luck.

You need to consider how old is your fridge, where did you purchase it from, it always good to have warranty if anything goes wrong, how long since this problem happen when you purchased it, take it back to the shop if you purchase it yourself.

How long have you own your machine?
How often it happen and since when this problem occur? Maybe it needed some maintenance to the final cycle rinsing of your machine as these machines are computerised and programmed to do certain things. I heard LG are very durable and reliable brand that's why I have changed to LG.

It waz given 2 me by my best friend whom went overseas n gave it az a gift...she had it bout 2 yrs n ive had it a couple months...first few times worked fine now itz useless an the dryer bill will skyrocket to god knows where...because instead of using a dryer for an 1 hour 1hour an a half i need to to use it 4-5 hours . instead...thats ridiculous n my electric bill is already 3000...not from the dryer from my son...csn u help or understand what the problem pl zzzzzzz....

I would just swap the hot and cold water hose leads. Then tell it to only wash in HOT, which is now cold. Seriously don't bother paying anyone to fix the junk box, i can't wait for mine to die so i can get a real washer.

That only worked for about 3 washes.

Call a serviceman, if your machine has a 10 year guarantee your should be covered. I find this washing machine frustrating when it will only wash woolens on warm. I think it should be my decision what temperature I want to use not the machine manufacturers.
