Decent headphones, unless it's RRP
With the Beats you are paying for the brand. That is obvious by now. These headphones are decent; decent sound, design but quite fragile in the quality department. Unless you find these on sale, and they rarely ever do, please consider an alternative brand before going with this, as you'll likely end up with a cheaper, better sounding and more durable model.

best headphone in market
The Solo3 is a more compact and wireless version of the classic Beats headphones. With a battery that lasts more than 40 hours, a Bluetooth connection that delivers perfect sound a whopping 120 feet away from a phone, and the W1 wireless chip that makes for seamless pairing to any iOS device, these are a sweet upgrade from Apple’s goofy looking earbuds. highly recommended.

Great sound
Noise cancelling and the sound is sooo good. Got it as a present as the price point is something a bit out of my budget, but actually using it I think it's so worth it. Only downside is they can be a bit bulky, I would've liked something with a sleeker design. Still probably the best headphones I've owned!!

Best purchase
Being and Iphone use I normally just used their headphones and found they always fell out of my ears when exercising, so I made the decision to upgrade. While they are quite expensive, I can not fault these. The sound is exceptional, easy to use, not too bulky, perfect for walking, running and travel use. Always recommend this product to people, can not fault!

So useful with the iPhone 7
I've been using wired in-ear headphones with my iPhone 7 and it has been frustrating because the 7 doesn't have an audio jack. I decided to buy the Beats Solo3 in mat gold and I'm really liking it so far. Audio is good, the cups are soft and comfy as well. I used the headphones for a 6 hour flight and didn't really have a problem with the weight/tightness.

It's ok.
I have a pair of Solo 3's which are Rose Gold from Apple.
They have good sound, great fit for the ears and flexible. Has long battery life; I normally have to fully charge it very 3 days. However, for it's price I would not recommend this - it is very overpriced.

Great for the gym!
Love these headphones, they have great sound cancelling abilities and excellent for the gym, housework, travel to work, and gaming. Comfortable to wear sound is clear, I purchased them in black which is my colour of preference, but is available in other colours. I like the fact that these are wireless and do not have the restrictions of other headphones which use wires.

Good sound quality and design.
As a smaller person I struggled to fine something to fit my head properly, these however are perfect! They’re also pretty and not overly bulky. The sound quality is good, just the build quality does not feel as good as bose. I got them free for Macbook pro for students so I cant complain more.

Perfect
I got a pair of Rose Gold Solo 3's from Optus when i recontracted for the other half.
She absolutely loves it - long battery life, comfy, loud and ergonomic, as well as fashionable.
I have had other brands of wireless headphones in the past and they didnt stack up anywhere as good in terms of quality.
I do wish there was a hard case instead of the textile variant as then you could chuck it around in a bag a bit more without stressing about it breaking.

Great Allrounder for Bass-Heads
Great fit and great packaging. The sound is designed for people who listen mainly to Pop and Hip Hop. Emphasis is given on the lower end of the sound spectrum. All in all a great headphone for every day use. For Classic or Rock music lovers probably there are better headphones around.

Loved by kids
Got these for the kids For Christmas to take overseas. They are wonderful. Battery lasts a long time. Highly recommend. They pick up their iPad easily and are comfortable to wear. Expensive though and I'm sure other brands that are cheaper would do the same job.Being kids they wanted the name brand.

good but not great
Good but not great. Could be louder and clearer. Having said that the bluetooth distance is amazing and the playback after a full charge is exellent. Just not worth the $350 price tag. And the case that houses the head phones should be hard plastic and not in a cheap bag.

Great headphones - pricey but worth it!
These earphones paired with apple products using bluetooth is amazing - connectivity is so quick and easy! The sound quality is really good and also blocks out a lot of external sound! The band of the headphones are quite stiff initially so they do hurt your head and ears for a while but eventually they mold to the shape of your head and become very comfy. Another thing to note is that when wearing these in summer it tends to get quite hot.

Great bass
Received this with my purchase of a new MacBook from the apple store promotion. it offers a clean and stylish design which complements the sleek MacBook aesthetic. The 40 hour battery life is amazing and it is quite easy to connect to via bluetooth. The sound offered is quite crisp but can be overpowered by the bass at times. I do enjoy the experience offered by the Beats headphones.

Beats solo 3 wireless rose gold pink
Daughter received on Optus plan. They are of highest quality. Made very strong material to last. Can replace the ear muffs. The sound quality is perfect. Wireless which is good. The charge works well. They may be expensive to buy but are well worth the money. We do have other colours for other two daughters. A great item for teenagers. The colour matches her phone and Apple Watch. Well done Beats for making such a great item

Great music on the go
These Beats Solo3 wireless headphones not only look great but also sound great. It is so easy to sync them with your mobile device and they fold neatly away in their pouch for easy transport and storage. The sound is always of high quality, you can easily adjust the volume and the headphones are so comfortable to wear. We bought these cheaper online, however I cannot remember the website. It is worth shopping around as prices can vary but ensure any online sites are legitimate and trusted.

Beats quality has vastly improved since acquired by Apple
The overall build and sound quality has improved by miles since this company was acquired by Apple. The product now feels like a quality its price command and the sound quality no longer makes you squint.
The battery life is great and with the built in Apple W1 chip connecting to my Apple devices is simply magic. There is no lag / sync issues with the audios when watching movies.
I would definitely recommend this product and brand if you’re in a market for a quality set of headphones.

The sound of music
I purchased a pair of wireless beats solo3 earlier this year to use with my iPhone 7plus (no headphone jack) and these work a treat! I love the wireless, Handsfree nature of these headphones. I can leave my phone in my room playing music and walk all over my house without missing a beat. These also work fantastically with my computer, and can easily plug in the cord if you want to use them wired with a device that doesn't accept Bluetooth. The battery lasts me a good fortnight of use before needing to be recharged overnight, but again, if they ...Read more
die on you during use, simply use them with the cord. The battery recharges super quick, and does have a quick charge function if you want to partially charge them for immediate use. Super expensive but very much worth it, I love my beats.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Does it seem like complete rubbish, or even hatchet jobs that all but one review from every review with 1 - 3 stars are not verified purchases? Also, the one review that is a verified purchase explains that his purchase was a gift?
I know, right??
Next, a lot of there faults people are finding in these are that they're falling off the heads of owners while they're working out, when in fact they're simply not the sharpest tools in the shed in the first place by not buying the much more activity styled earbud type??
I'm thinking of purchasing a set, and I can't help but wonder why all of the lower scores recorded seem especially nonsensical and by non-verified purchases
2 answers
Ok, Jason. I’m the verified buyer. Purchased 2 sets, the Black/Red & the Limited edition Mickey 90th. I too read the reviews and wonder when one is purchasing an item they need to look at all aspects. Whether it’s Beats or any other brand, headphones have their own purpose. The whole overview of this item is it’s use. The clarity is great, it’s wireless and at this stage tested to up to 3 metres, they are comfortable around the ears and head, stylish. As per previous notes, personally designed for walking, light jogging ie. everyday use. Personally, as first time a Beats users, am very happy.
Hope this has aided your question.
Thank you for the reply but no, Mortishia, no you're not. I asked about the people who rated these in their reviews of this product with 1 - 3 stars. with only one of them listed as a verified purchase, but who actually received these as a gift.
Most others who rated them higher were verified, and it's only the lower ratings that aren't verified and, as such, I was wondering if they were possibly running with agendas who're just out to slag the competition...
It just seems a little odd ;-)

I have the beats set and the right hand side has some sort of a wire problem. It cuts in and out like the wire isn't connected correctly.
1 answer
Hi Charmaine,
I too have the same issue but it may just be wear/tear depending on how long you have them.
If the beats are fairly new you should be able to go back to the manufacture and get a replacement wire should it still be under warranty.
