I will never recommend this services

All the time for drop outs
Data from logbook in modem being deleted after contact with bendigo telco. No documentation put on computers when we have called. Once i let them know its illegal to remove data and documentation they suddenly had on computers we had rang mutiple times. Still removing data from logbook in modem. They told us to connect computor to Ethernet cable after we did a speed test suddenly brand new computer had no internet connection after this conversation which indicated some kind of hacking been done by there end once we proved that speed wasnt up to point of what i was paying for. Fully corrupt service. And dont like being sprung in the action will be going to TIO with evidence that i have.

Ended on a sour note
I have persevered with a mobile internet account from Bendigo Telco for about 6 years because I wanted to support a local company and the staff were nice. More fool me!
Here is the whole story:
I say "persevered" because the Optus mobile phone tower in Maldon (Vic 3463) has constant problems and outages. The service used to always slow to a crawl or go down after it was windy – I supoose it got blown out of alignment or damaged somehow? On one occasion my dad somehow got through to an engineer at Optus (in Australia!) and he confirmed that th...Read more
ere were problems with the tower, even though a desk jockey later called my dad and accused him of lying when he relayed the engineer's comments. (He had already switched to Telstra by the time she called. Funny that there is someone at Optus whose job is to phone customers who have lodged a complaint in order to yell at them and accuse them of lying!) Anyway, in 2016 there was no service at all for a week, leaving me with no phone and no internet, and that is when I switched my mobile phone from Optus to Telstra. But I kept on with mobile internet from Optus via Bendigo Telco because the staff were nice, and I could go in there when I needed help. Also, they credited my account for the 7 days' outage.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Just considered changing (for a cheaper plan) and now have learned to appreciate BendigoTelco
I have been with them for over a year and never had a problem. I then found a plan which I thought was better value. Discovered what the lack of customer service looks like, so decided to stay
Their service has declined a bit - they used to be open till 8 pm weekdays and Saturday morning, now it is only 8.30am and 5.30pm, Mon - Fri. but at least it IS possible to talk to a human

I just never have problems.
We've never had dropouts that I'm aware of. Hubby doesn't use it much. We got an email once or twice about them changing servers but that was brief and with courteous warning. They bought out the small company we were using years ago and it's all still all good. We had issues now and then with others but not Bendigo Telco. Their staff are nice too if you go brain dead and forget passwords or need tech help.
I'd have to highly recommend them because we haven't been able to fault them.

They listened
They have listened and no longer treat us like numbers only. The new plans are easy to understand and I will stay with them for a bit. The cost has come down too.

Sad to see it failing
I have been with this telco for over 10 years. Once the latest manager was appointed the business practices declined. There is a severe lack of customer service with regards to dealing with problems and they do constantly screw up when "upgrading" (never an upgrade). The only thing that has made me stay was local jobs, friendly front line staff (other than higher up managers who never return calls). The latest fail is this idiotic manager thinks email hosting is an accessory. It is not. It is an essential. Given feedback to all citizens I have ...Read more
spoken to, in order to see if I was alone in my thinking, it is laughable concept and email hosting is most definitely not an extra. The manager thinks that the likes of Google and Yahoo are terrific email hosting services. Like hell they are. Bendigo Telco is still hosting email for businesses though and that tells me they want to be the ISP for businesses only. Not going to work because they don't provide 7 day support. It astounds me that with increased competition we have seen an increase in treating the most valuable asset a company has - the customer - so disrespectful as if they don't matter. I want to support Australian jobs and Australian companies but you all need to pull your socks up.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Pathetic Customer Service and if you pay late get charged twice in fees
First time Ever I miss a Automatic payment first I get charged $11.90 which first the Comm Bank told me it was Bendigo Telco fee, then today I'm told it's the charge from the auto payment provided??
Was told today by [name removed] from BT that she would Email details too me so I could follow up (she had no idea what was going on) and no email received.
To top my day off with this so called Telco I received my monthly invoice not for $34.50 but instead $49.50 as now on top of the $11.90 fee they have also charged me $15.00 late payment fe...Read more
e... Two charges totalling $26.90 for been a week late paying my payment. Discusting all round really by this Telco who maybe should stick too Banking and not Mobile phone plans as they are a rip off in these fees and have no idea when it comes to customer service.Similar opinion? Very disappointed
I tried Bendigo to give a local (Bendigo) company a go. The first time I contacted them in 2016 they were fantastic. I moved addresses, cancelled my services and then re-joined them again about one month later. Oh boy, this is when the whole service fell apart. They ignored what I asked for, which was VOIP home phone and NBN, and just gave me NBN. When I contacted them 3 weeks later, after the NBN had been connected and asked where was my VOIP, they told me that they don't supply VOIP anymore. What? That is what I asked for! So this lead to a n...Read more
umber of emails and calls, the best thing to do is refer them back to their taped phone calls and emails. 'Oh, yes, we apologise for that, blah, blah, blah etc..... So after waiting weeks for the NBN and then to find no VOIP, and being told that I was wrong, I cancelled my contract, as they didn't provide me with the service I requested and I moved to Optus. I don't know what happened to this company, but it seemed to implode within the 12 months from 2016 to 2017. I originally spoke to competent Australian operators, who then turned into gibbering former shells of the themselves, not listening, contradicting (when they were wrong) and generally having little understanding. Such a shame.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
Shocking overcharges
I’ve been with bendigo telco mobile broadband for a few months. Everything worked fine until I went over my data limit. Excessive overcharges and a 2 - 4 delay so way of knowing where you’re at with the data usage. I was overcharged 6 times but did not receive any warning until I had gone away on holiday 5 days after I had left my house. When I called to complain they were very rude and pretty much hung up on me. Terrible and insidious service. I will change my service next month.

Poor product and even worse service
The NBN wifi is not unusable between 11pm and 7am and Netflix wont even work at any time of the day or night. The wifi constantly drops out To the point that you can’t even write an email. Staff blamed the constant cutting out on NBN or the fact that it’s wifi and that’s normal. This isn’t even the worst part. Call times at any time of the day are a minimum 20 minutes up to an hour. What is worst is their cancellation process which takes 2 weeks although they say it only up to 3 business days (lies). They blame the slow process on me and drew it out over 2 weeks then sent me a bill for a full month. Save your time and money and do not even look at this company.

Keep far away from this mob
This circus is run by a bunch of clowns. They had an email migration that is a disaster customer wise, no help, can't or won't answer the phone. I was with McPherson media, excellent support, after hours and weekend, ready to help. Then Bendigo Telco bought them out. Now, office hours help line, ends at 5-30pm, no after hours or weekend support. You are on your own----and they couldn't care less. The chief clown who runs the circus needs to be sacked if they want to get anywhere. Oh--- for the days of McPherson media.. Stay far away from this disaster, ---even Telstra looks like they might be worth trying, Am I upset---you bet I am. If I could choose less than one star, I would, they don't even deserve that.

I suggest you call them to ask. They are one of the few Telcos that have a local help line
