Great screen with useful KVM
I've been using this screen for a couple of weeks now for both CAD/3D as well as gaming. its a great sharp screen with many colour options for quickly switching between various modes. I tend to use the low blue light mode constantly to minimise eye strain and the built-in reminders to look away from the screen are quite handy. I find the screen is acceptable for casual gaming, but would not suit serious gamers. ng two computers on the same keyboard, mouse and screen. You have to purchase a separate USB 3 typeB uplink lead for the second computer. I also had some problems connecting the HDMI from one computer and DisplayPort. If you connect the HDMI first then DisplayPort has trouble working, so connect the DisplayPort input first. I like the feature which automatically turns the screen off when you walk away, but you need to ensure you enable the wake on USB option as sometimes it does not automatically come back on just by sitting down (set to far). To get the most out of this you will want to get a recent computer which can handle the resolution and I would recommend connecting via DisplayPort. While the screen also has built-in audio, I disabled this quickly as it is a bit tinny. Programming buttons to work as a KVM is very easy to do and you can do the same to program settings you use frequently on top of that, but I find that now I am comfortable with the setup, I don't use the control wheel at all anymore. Overall I highly recommend this product for its primary purpose and you just have to work-around any other limitations of the inbuilt KVM or inputs. I would suggest that the CAD/CAM setting is over-exaggerated and I don't bother with this at all - the screen is more than sharp enough to not need it. Great big Monitor
I purchased this because I was having so much trouble profiling my 27' Samsung 750.
I blamed the Spyder 5 pro for the problem but in the end it was a monitor that the Spyder 5 just could not profile accurately always leaving a green tinge.
In the end i did it by hand but I was still looking for a new monitor and I noticed this 32' model BenQ.
It came in two flavours, the much more expensive 4K PD3200U and the 2K PD3200Q.
In the end I opted for the PD3200Q and just could not justify the extra $500 for the U model.

I'm considering the same monitor for CAD/3D work. How well does the KVM aspect of this work? I work from two computers and use a convention KVM at the moment - can you say switch between a computer using HDMI and the other display port without any problems?.

i don't use KVM in regard to switching but it is available on this model, there is no mention of whether a different connection type would hinder or prevent switching, it would be highly unlikely .
