So glad I bought this one!
I've been really happy with my dehydrator. I love that the trays go in the dishwasher. It dries evenly, you don't have to rotate them like with my old round one, and it is so much quieter! I don't mind having this one going in the room next door, unlike my old one that I banished to the garage!

Love it
I really only purchased this to make chicken jerkies for my dog because after having pancreatitis, she was put on a strict diet and chicken breast jerkies was her only treat. I would use this dehydrator every 2-3 weeks and just love it. Does them to perfection and isn't a noisy machine as was my old one. Will have to try other foods and see how I go, but I'm sure they will be successful also.

Love my dehydrator
I have used it to activate my nuts and seeds. They come out great. I like how you can leave it and not worry and it just does its job. For the seeds though, the wire on the trays is spaced too far, so I have had to put down baking paper or they fall off. It would be good if one tray could have a closer woven grill for the smaller things we want to dry out. I would buy a replacement tray if one were available. I haven't tried fruit or meat yet. I also like how it looks and it is sleek and suits the kitchen well. Easy to clean.

Unusual Activity
I guess the expectation is that I will waffle on about how well the food comes out...............not the case. I am part of a group that runs the TAA Australians Airlines museum in Melbourne. We bought the hydrator to help us convert our U-Max, Beta and VHS tapes into digital form. We were having trouble with the tapes contaminating the heads on the video players. The solution we came up with was to "cook" the tapes in the dehydrator before playing them. The process removes the moisture and eliminates oxidisation the heads do not get contaminating and we get a trouble free run. The unit was not intended for this purpose, but it does a great job.

The good and the bad
The dehydrator does what it says, I get beautiful banana chips, herbs and even prove yeast in it. The trays need to be sprayed with coconut oil for the banana though as the fruit will stick hard to the mesh and you will have to pry it off. The front door split from the heat of the unit after the second use, so I'm hoping that the company has replacement doors. Apart from these 2 faults it is a great machine that holds a lot of food and looks quite neat in the kitchen.

Excellent. Can't be faulted.
Exceptional quality. Solid build and decent size makes this the best for it's price. One of the main reasons I bought this was the guarantee. When products have a long guarantee you you know you are buying quality.
Very happy with the dehydrator and would certainly recommend this.
Great for making dog treats!

Great dehydrator
This dehydrator does all drying of fruit and veg I need, some for pieces for soups etc, some for powders and jerky too, a really great machine very quiet and the stainless steel shelves are marvellous, I find them very easy to clean, I would have preferred to have a timer, but still a good thing

Very Happy with my New Dehydrator
Made Beef Jerky for my first attempt of dehydrating. Lucky I got the recipe right first time... everyone loved it and there have been many requests for more. Super easy machine to use and keep clean. Large enough to make an abundance. This is an excellent product which I would highly recommend.

Love the way it works
This makes great "roasted" nuts and I intend to make veggie chips.
The unit came with a cracked door and no non stick sheet. I registered the product and stated this. I also emailed the company with a photo of the door
I received a call from company and the replacements came with no problems

Had this for a week now, it's quiet, it does the job, love the stainless steel tray, it's very easy to clean. Would be nice if there's a timer though, I usually run it over night, without a timer sometimes food gets too dry. Other than that, I have no complain.

Great dehydrator
I think it's great, I've been putting eggplant in it and using it as chips for my healthy dip. It has no timer or turns it self off but for the price it's really great. I'm thinking of getting a timer I can plug into the power and then it will turn itself off. One thing I do ask is that they have a better cook book sent out for dehydrators and even the parchment paper maybe a sample as I have no idea where to get this from and never used it before. Still love the service as it turned up straight away and was a great price. I've been telling all my friends about it however I haven't shared anything with them yet as I eat it all.

Excellent
I bought this dehydrator because it had metal tray shelves unlike others on the market. The horizontal air flow design dehydrates items well and the clear view door helps us to see the contents as it dries. The thermostat is nice graduated and there is a helpful drying temperature chart on the top of the unit. Note this unit DOES NOT have a timer - the timer referred to on the box is the overheat timer that will switch the unit off. This isn't a problem for us as we are doing small batches of trail food - makes great jerky, vegetable chips, kale chips and bread squares. I would recommend this dehydrator if you are interested in dehydrating and don't want to spend a fortune on a high end unit.

Hi Kath, Thank you for the feedback. I can also recommend a timer that is placed on your power point as a great alternative that is very low cost. These can be purchased from your local hardware store.

what is better - arizona or arizona sol - and why?
1 answer
Vitality L.BioChef
Hi Tim, the main difference of these 2 models is the drying time, the Arizona Sol has 19.5 420-500w (lower energy consumption) and removable door, and the Arizona 24hrs 800w. So I guess the Arizona Sol would be the way to go. :) Anymore questions please ask. Regards Bec V4L
