Great seats. Front seats are very support, very comfortable and very adjustable. So you'll have no issues finding the right seating position.
Nice touches like holding down the lock button on the remote closes the windows remotely. Or on a hot day holding down the open button opens the windows and sunroof to get hot air out of the car before you get in.

I used to work as a driver at Avis, so I have driven nearly every single car model in the world, including the original BMW 1-series. The original 1-series was ugly and very 80's in its interior. BMW has certainly fixed that with the F20 where the interior was the main reason I bought the car. The 135i is possibly the perfect small, "family" sports car. The straight 6 3 litre twin turbo engine pulls smoothly and extremely powerfully all the way through the rev range. I drove the 2008 V8 M3 recently, and 135 pocket rocket felt at least it's equal, particularly at lower revs.
Handling is very precise, and as with the performance, very impressive. The brakes, albeit with a bit of squeaking, and also very capable. With a manual gear box it a very quick, capable drivers car.

We bought this car in 2007. It started leacking engine oil from the very begining but we were told the truth (by BMW) in 2010 just after its warrenty was expired. Then the gearbox sterted leaking a couple of years later. BMW charged us $2500 to fix both leakings. Few months later the engine started leacking again but this time from the bottom. I was given a quote for $1100 to get the second leackage fixed. I waited for a while and went back to get the job done. The rear wheel drive gives the 125i a really balanced feel. It is a drivers car and even with the 8 speed automatic there is the capacity to move to a manual mode via paddles. The car is comfortable for four adults and the five door hatch offers versatility and the capacity to carry larger loads. The interior is really classic BMW and it feels and looks high quality.

I have the 2007 120i e87 auto. issue i've had blown bulbs. its like every few months front bulbs would blow whether it was the parkers or the h7 bulbs but one at the time, That was annoying!
oil would be burning - seems a common problem. later found out i have a leak. No puddles but that means you get to put in new oil every month :)
Horn is now NOT working??? no fuses blown, took the front bumper off all connected. Brought $10 ebay horn wired them in and it works. Took it to BMW quoted $500 to repair!!!

I bought a F20 116i in September 2012 and have done about 26,000km in it now. If you can't tell if a car is being driven by the front wheels or the back wheels then you're probably better off buying something like a Golf or Focus. The car's strengths are the way it drives. Beautiful steering, a great motor and excellent handling and ride compromise. What a rocket. And steering precision akin only to a formula 1 car (I think as I've never driven one). As soon as you sit into the leather sports fully electric adjustable bolster seats (in the comfort package) you know that this thing is going to scare and exhilarate you. I'm very lucky to have purchased a low km F20 BMW M135i in 6 speed manual. Purchased April 2014. It's the best thing I've ever bought. 16 months after buying and I still get a smile every time I drive, I love driving to work, I love driving home, every time I'm in the car is a joy to me.

Don't get the "$2000 car wash" option (fill in random product name of supposed super-shine-polish here) from the dealer, it's a very high margin option that will look good for a month.
