Fantastic investment!
I bought this cot in early 2003 before my first child was born. She used it up until she was nearly 4 years old, and still could have used it longer except we needed it for bub #2. He used it until he was nearly 4 too. I'm expecting #3 now (2012) and still have my Boori cot, and apart from the chew marks (thanks to my daughter) it's still in near perfect condition, so very sturdy and well made. If this bub uses it until he/she is 4 (and looking at it I can't see a reason why not!)then I will have owned it for 13 to 14 years!! (Only need to repl...Read more
ace the mattress) Very much worth the investment! Very strong and sturdy, top quality and therefore lasts forver!! Looks beautiful (especially with a nice halo net!), sliding mechanisim for drop down slide is safe (bub's fingers cant get stuck anywhere) Easy to put up and pull down, easy to use, toddler bed conversion plus larger size means that it will last for years The only thing I could put here is that it is a bit on the pricey side, BUT, in saying that if you keep it for future bubs or even if you sell it the 2nd hand value is still very good, so really, it's worth it!Similar opinion? I really like this cot, as does my son. It is a great size and looks great. The one-handed drop side operates very easily and it is easy to change between the 2 heights.
Although we did have to return the first one delivered due to dints and varnish flaws and this scratched easily so I have doubts about the varnish quality, especially for the cost.
The optional tidy draw is also very handy and adds much needed storage.
Highly recommended!
I like that it is larger, that the side has a one-handed mechanism and the style.
Not much, possibly the timber is a little soft and easy to scratch.

Best cot ever
I love this cot, its solid and well made. The drop down side is so easy to do, and it can be done with one hand which is great if you have a sleeping baby in your arms.
Best of all the cot converts into a toddler bed so can be used for many years.
Converts into toddler bed giving it many years of use, Solid and well made

the perfect cot
i love this cot, i got it 6 years ago and it has lasted my 3 children( with a change of mattress), and i suspect it will last grandchildren! its east to use, easy to adjust and available in so many colours! its a perfect addition to any nursery!
reliable, pretty, excellent for newborns to toddlers!
we had some trouble with the place where we brought it, there were no rails for the toddler bed in the box and it took 6 months for them to get them to us.

It's solid, doesn't move around, coverts to a 'toddler bed' and I'll keep it for our next child. I know it'll stand the test of time (and children).
I love that it's sturdy, looks great, has two bed heights, isn't on wheels (who wants to move a bed around anyway), and there's other matching furniture to buy
None really except that we were given money as a gift otherwise I wouldn't have been able to afford it.

Great cot. I have twins and my other cot is smaller, easier for bubs to get out, and the other cot also requires two hands to drop down the side rail. This is impossible when you have a baby in your arms. I would love to get rid of the other cot and buy another boori. Well worth the money, epecially if you plan on having more than one child, it will certainly see you through many children
Great size, sturdy, one handed mechanism to drop side down which is very important when you have a baby in your arms!
expensive, no wheels

It is a beatiful, quality product that comes in different finishes to suit your tastes and there are other pieces of furniture to match it. It is a little more expensive than other cots but I believe if you want quality you have to expect to pay for it.
It is a good quality product. It is sturdy and was very easy to assemble. The two different heights is great and the rail is easy to drop down. The fact that it changes into a bed is a great advantage also.
Wheels would be handy to make moving it around a little easier although it is quite light weight.

I have the whole nursery in Boori furniture and the classic cot was the 1st item we purchased. Some people think that the price is prohibitive but if you look after it you will be able to sell it 2nd hand for a great return. Mine had been used for 3 kids, was 7 years old and I sold it for $300 which I think was a great investment. The one-handed rail sliding is great if you are holding a sleeping baby in your arms, it's also very quiet. I'm so glad we bought this cot, it's been great for all 3 kids that used it.

Fantastic cot - great quality and so easy to use!
I bought a Boori Classic Cot second hand in the white colour. It had been used by 2 children and was 4 years old and was in as new condition, which I believe is in part a testament to the quality of Boori cots. It was easy to take apart and put back together and it is very sturdy. It is a good size cot and being a popular brand, was easy to find the right size mattress and sheets. It is available in a range of colours and stains and the white coordinates well with other furniture in the room (some Boori but some other brands). Best of all is th...Read more

I think its quality & style are great! I've used other cots & they are not as solid & not as good looking of course but I would say that they both do the job very nicely. So in choosing Boori, I think it's more the look then the functionality. Also, the baby probably don't know how to appreciate the bed so it's more to satisfy the parents than benefits the baby. FYI, Kingparrot cots are made from the same manufacturer & costs a lot less and if you decide to pay the premium to get the soft white colour like me...have second thoughts because ligh...Read more

Well worth it if you are having more than one child. Our first child use it until 24 months and was not able to climb out.
Has stood the test of time, my sister had it and gave to me when I was pregnant, its now over 8 years old and still going strong. Love the two matress heights.
We would never have been able to afford the price

We were looking for a decent long lasting cot nearly at every store.
Most look cheap looking and the finished paint on most cots doesn't look promising to last.
We then found the perfect cot and it was Boori.
I love how it converts into a toddler bed which saves you money in the long run.
Definately worth the money despite it being very expensive.
Any Boori cot is recommended!
I love how it's made from high quality wood and knowing the paint won't chip is an added bonus.
I love the style and feel of the cot, very smooth!
Absolutely nothing!

I thought this cot was very reasonably priced, i looked around a lot and wanted to buy a cot/toddler bed and this was my second choice but im really happy with it. i put the cot together on my own and only took me about half an hour. love how big it is and will definately last my baby well into her toddler years. great how u can buy the teething rails to protect the wood.
i love this cot, its very classic and in the white it really looks stunning
the side rail is hard to manovure and is a bit noisy, so i just leave the drop side up.

Love this cot. It was relatively easy to construct, looks fantastic in the nursery and is easy to match with other Boori or other brand furniture. We chose this cot because it looked bigger than several others and we are hoping to get a few years use out it it. Also great that it converts into a junior bed so bubby will not have to get a new bed once he is too big for the cot. We had to move our baby to the cot earlier than we would have liked because he was long and kicking out of his bassinet but he has not seemed "lost" in it! We love it ... highly recommended.
Looks great, nice and roomy and seems comfortable for bub

Although it is one of the more expensive cots in the market, you get what you pay for. Have recommended it to several of my friends.
Sturdy, gorgeous colours available and easy to assemble and use. My loves using this and I like that you are able to see through the end without going into the room to disturb him.
One of the pricier ones in the market.

A quality piece of furniture that looks great as the main feature in our baby's nursery. Many people have commented on how lovely it looks.
A beautifully finished cot, with a true 'classic' look as the name suggests. It is A very sturdy, which is important when you have a baby who loves to bounce on the mattress. Very easy to assemble and included instructions that were actually easy to follow! The junior bed option is good.
The mechanism to open and close the cot can be difficult but I'm not sure if this is just me. I also find it hard to ...Read more

All in all a beautiful cot, we got rid of all our baby stuff between babies and when it came time to buy it all again my husband and I looked everywhere for something we liked better (just on principal that I felt silly to buy the same stuff twice) but in the end we bought it all again because there was nothing that had all we liked about this cot and that we liked the look of as much and have been just as happy second time around, no regrets.

Whats your lows price on cots

I have a Boori casa cot and the recommended mattress that came with the package from baby kingdom is too small. The mattress moves around and there are gaps where my flat hand can fit easily. Is this a manufacturer defect on mattress size or is this how it is supposed to sit? Worried as these gaps are a SIDS risk. I do have images and a video and happy to PM this to you.

Hi Kay - I am concerned about this also. Did you ever get an answer in this regard?
Rebecca E.Boori
Hello Kay, our current cot bed models (including the Casa https://www.boori.com/au/casa-cot-bed-dropside-barley) require a specific mattress size that measures 132cm x 70cm. Older models may need a different size, you can find this information on the base of your cot bed.
If you could send the video to our customer services team, they'll look into this for you as soon as possible. They can be reached via email at [email protected].
Best wishes,
Rebecca
