Perfect for the price point
Given that we bought this new oven at AU$788 0n 21 May 2017 from The Good Guys, down from AU$1299 recommended retail, a 40% discount brings it down to the price of the disposable brands.
This is a good basic oven, not quite the bottom tier offering from Bosch.
Unfortunately only 1 wire tray is included, and the older series trays do not fit as they are too narrow.
All good so far, but an Eco-clean panel on all surfaces would be better. The previous Bosch we had never needed cleaning at all except for wiping out the bottom and the door (died from lightning strike).

Update: The display screen has a small section bubbling up in the bottom right hand corner. This oven should not be operated at higher temperatures for extended periods.

The perfect oven for a big family.
I loved it. The best feature of a product which I like is the Energy and the time. This product is easy to handle. With the instruction manual every one could be able to use this product. This inbuilt oven is not risky.I am happy to cook very tasty food with this oven as my kids loved it.

May still be available through The Good Guys
A simple and easy to use oven we bought to replace old Electrolux oven. It has an attractive glass stainless steel fascia panel and retractable knobs. All necessary accessories and very easy to install and clean. If The Good Guys have not sold them out, you'd get a real bargain. Highly recommended - value for your money!

I experienced exactly the same effect last week. When opening the door an intense blast of hot air hits you in the face.
I have also noticed the plastic of the display screen is beginning to bubble and distort in the bottom right hand corner, despite the oven never having been used above 180 DegC.
We too are experiencing same problem of intense blast of hot air and steam which has nearly burnt my elderly mothers face so many times. We have not had any problems like this with any other brand of ovens before. My mum has rung Bosch to complain and they are sending out a technician this week. I hope this can be fixed otherwise my mother will have to come up with another solution as her fragile skin can’t take the blast of heat.

hi! I have oven model HBA23B2.1S and the bulb cap just crashed by itself. The glass cover is broken and detached, but some glass is still around the lamp. How can I fix and can I use the oven without the bulb cap?
