I'm now a bread nut !!
You walk in my front door and you smell bread! I make bread for my grandkids and us. I'll never go back. It's filling, it doesn't give you indigestion. It's a winner. Two mins to throw in ingredients, set and forget. Don't eat it warm, it will still be fermenting. Wait 8 hours. Yummo

This is my 3rd bread maker over the years and by far the best. Can't believe how light it is to move around. The bread that comes out of this machine is exceptionally good. I use the Laucke Crusty Bread mix, there is only 2 of us so the 450g setting is a perfect size. 400g of bread flour, 230ml of filtered water (apparently that makes a difference) 1 3/4 teaspoons of yeast, on the No. 2 French setting and you get a wonderful loaf, nearly up to the top of pan. You can remove the blade at the last rise (approximately 1hour 50 mins left on timer

Update: Now that I have been playing with this bread maker, I have perfected (I think) A small white loaf...here goes Laucke white Crusty Bread mix 460g - 278 water - 1 3/4 teaspoons yeast To cook turn machine on place pan in machine then just hit the ........ Menu button once then Start....takes 340mins total Take blade out at 2.00 remains they same time adding seeds if requiredQuestions & Answers
I have recently purchased my Breville bakers dozen bread maker and my question is, I set the crust to dark but still has no colour, I’m using crusty white bread mix but still has no crust or colour, I have followed the instructions correctly but very disappointed. Thanks Shona
What is the weight of this breadmaker?
Can you bake sour dough in this machine and can you use multigrain premix if so on what setting.
I am sorry, I have never baked sour dough but I am sure you can, if you have the recipe, and with the multigrain premix the instructions should be on the pack or ask the manufacturer, I have with the Laucke wholemeal....they gave me amounts for a smaller loaf...(only had to add slightly more water than Crusty white)..I would try that
Thanks Deb - I haven't purchased yet I am still trying to work out which one covers all the things that i want out of the machine.
Yes I bake sourdough bread it's delicious
Hi Marie - What menu do you use for your sourdough? I have tried Menu 2 & 3 and have been unsuccessful on both settings.
