I couldn't get a good fit with them
I really wanted to love these nappies. The shells have great prints with nice materials, although I didn't like the stiffness or feel of the inserts as much some other brands.
I just could not get these nappies to stop leaking. They just didn't fit my bub well at all. He couldn't last even 2 hours in them. After loads and loads of extra laundry which WEREN'T nappies but rather wet/soiled clothes and sheets, I finally accepted the fact that they just weren't for my bub. I have since has success with a different brand.
All that being said they do...Read more

Love these nappies.
The designs are super cute! They fit nicely on my 4month old baby and will hopefully last until he is potty trained. They are much easier to set up compared to pocket nappies. I love them! Thank you bubblebubs!!

Best, Aussie-brand, So easy to use!
We love our Candies! They fit perfectly every time and are so easy for dads and grandparents too. The boosters are highly absorbent. Love all the colours and patterns. We have never had a leak - even with big dirty ones, or when we’ve forgotten to change before a nap and then Bub slept for a lot longer than anticipated! Oops!
Candies are so easy to wash - the Clean Cloth Nappy guidelines work perfectly every time. Even yucky teething poo marks come out following the guidelines. I can’t see any signs of wear and tear even after many washes and...Read more
wears - such high quality! We don’t use any other nappies now - Bubblebubs are by far the best! There is plenty of growth left in them for our 1 and a bit year old, and they are such excellent quality - they will get plenty of use with little siblings soon enough too. We have always experienced quick and friendly customer service from Vicki and the team. Quick postage too! We highly recommend Bubblebubs Candies!Purchased in March 2021 at Bubblebubs.

Amazing and versatile nappy.
Hands down the best nappy we’ve used. Tried a few and candies are the most versatile - fit so many shapes and size babies and you can use the inserts and booster for boosting with a Bubblebubs cover for night as well.
Customer service is second to none! We no longer purchase other nappies now we’ve found Bubblebubs.

The best MCN for my bub
The candies are amazing. My bub is fairly small for his age (6kg at 7.5 months) and has fit these well for a while, and another friend uses them on her chunky monkey. They're so versatile with size. The side snaps make doing up on a wriggly bub soooo much easier, and they're a very thirsty nappy - even without the booster. Such a great nappy, they're now my main stash and what I reach for first. The prints are also so much fun!!

The perfect nappy for chunky bubs!
BEST nappies for chunky thighs. One of only 2 brands that don't leave awful red marks. Beautifully soft (we use minky), easy to wash, stuff and fit. LOVE LOVE LOVE!

Love my candies!
Fantastic nappies- no leaks, easy to use and fit (even hubby is on board).
I started my MCN journey with Candies- totally love them. Quality fabulous, great customer care, and super gorgeous patterns.
Love that I’ve shed some environmental guilt, and less chemicals against bubs skin.

Great for older babies.
We started using Candies when our baby outgrew BamBams (which we absolutely loved!). He was eight weeks old (5kg) but we found that they weren't a great fit until he was a bit older. When we first started using them we had a lot of leaks. We watched a few tutorials from the website and that did help, but I think he also just needed to be bigger. By the time he was 12 weeks' old the nappies were great. They did take a bit of getting used to with the side snaps. My husband still doesn't like the side snaps and will choose other nappies in our sta...Read more
sh when he changes him, however I don't mind them and now that our baby is 10 months old and can undo the velcro at the front of other covers I can definitely see the benefit in the side snaps. They are also the most streamlined nappy that we have and they rarely leak. They definitely contain poo explosions extremely well. The only time they leak is when he is in between the snaps. At that time I tend to use another nappy until he's grown a little more. In terms of looks, they are above and beyond the best looking nappy. Overall, I would recommend, however I'd definitely have other nappies in your stash. I did find the price a little steep compared to other nappies, but the quality is definitely better than others. I did get them a lot cheaper by having one included in the part time Bam Bam pack that we bought and receiving a $60 voucher when we purchased the Candie trial pack. They have washed very very well, the elastics have remained tight (unlike other brands), and the colours and patterns bright. I think these nappies will continue to perform well as baby grows and if they keep washing the way they have I can see that they will become a great investment. We purchased 9 nappies.Purchased in February 2021 for $30.00.

Easy to use, great quality, excellent customer service
Beautiful quality modern cloth nappy. No rise snaps means super easy to fit, and OSFM so will fit from a few months (I didn't start using til around 6 months), up to toilet training. The customer service from this company is amazing, will answer any questions you have. There are lots of youtube videos about how to fit the nappies. Sometimes I find it hard to get the leg seal right (without making it too tight), but most of the time it's great. Have never had leaks, and have also used it sometimes as a night nappy on my 8 month old girl with the...Read more
booster. Well worth the money as they look like they will last (have bought some second hand that are still great), and can also re-sell for good value. Come in standard block colours, and limited edition prints which are cute. I prefer the PUL but the minky ones are also lovely and soft.Purchased in January 2021 at Bubblebubs for $36.95.

SO easy to use... once you know what to do
I love our candies. They are such a good fit, compared to other brands I have tried - not as bulky on my little one who has always been on the smaller side of the weight chart. I highly recommend you watch the online videos on how to get a good fit - they helped me and I haven't had any leaks since I fit them correctly.
And the patterns and fabrics are just so gorgeous!

Easy to use. Wonderful product!
First try of a MCN with our 6 month old wriggler and have found our candies easy to fit on her with our trial pack. Hanging out for the new release of patterns so we can build our stash to use mostly cloth nappies.

Excellent nappies
I am so pleased with candies for my baby! I have just bought a 3rd bunch and I am so pleased. I am using the same inner absorbing booster on my 2nd toddler. We had some leaks with my little boy early on and I changed the fold and no more problems. Bambams were fantastic for my newborn. I am using candies full time now and love that we don’t need disposables!!

Leaks nearly every time
Both boys leak through their candies almost every time they wear them. If the inner layer is wet, it comes straight through the “waterproof” cover. Dislike the button positions too.

Cute designs and very absorbent
I use the combination of trifold and booster and it lasts 3-4 hours unless pooped in earlier. At first I thought it was too bulky and didnt like the fit but after enduring the material around the kegs were pushed into the groin line, it looks more comfortable and we have less red marks. I dont like that it can leak through the stitching though. We have 9 candies and makes up most of our stash. However, baby girl is approaching 5 months and already on the second last snaps. Hopefully her legs get longer and she can use these for more than 12 months too.
I love the minky material.

Great quality
I have used 5 different nappy brands now and I always reach for candies and will only look to purchase in the future. The quality feels amazing, extremely absorbent and the trifold is great because it is quicker to dry then one really thick insert.

Great Nappy
Love our Bubblebub Candies! They're one of my favourite reusable nappies. The quality is great, great absorbancy, trim fitting, cute prints and they dry quickly compared to other brands. Also had positive customer service when contacting the store. I really like the side snaps as you don't have to worry about marks like you do with some other OSFM styles.

Covers Leak
We bought the candies after having using the bam bams which were fantastic but we find that the covers leak constantly. We emailed the store to see what was happening and they even said the covers can leak at the back through the stitching where the tag is. I was a bit frustrated as why wouldn’t they just put the tag in the side where it wouldn’t get any leaks. I even sent photos and the lady said my fit was right but the nappy leaked in 1.5 hours which is a joke. We were disappointed as since they are so expensive we cannot use the covers so w...Read more
e have switched to the Grovia covers which never leak and I highly recommend. I unfortunately would not recommend the candies to anyone as they fail at the one thing a nappy should do which is not leak.Purchased in June 2021 at Bubblebubs.

Excellent MCNs but may be quickly outgrown and tricky to use for wrigglers
I have three brands of MCNs in my stash, and most of them are Bubblebubs Candies. Terrific business, excellent quality MCNs that are easy to put on Baby (once I realised that the front flaps go over the back flaps and not the other way around as it is with most nappies!) Overall, I do (and have) recommended Candies, but here’s a breakdown of Pros and Cons:
Pros
Fit. This is a major issue with some other MCNs, but because the waist fitting and thigh fittings are separate snaps, Candies can be tailored well to suit your baby as he or she grows....Read more
Have only had one leak when I fitted the nappy too loosely. Quality and absorbency. Both the covers and bamboo inserts are great quality. I have used Candies overnight (10 hours) with a trifold insert plus a single insert, without any leakage. Design. The trimmest out of all my MCNs. No rise snaps, which Bubblebubs promotes as a major advantage, but rise snaps have not been a huge problem for me personally with other brands.Purchased in April 2021.

Best cloth nappies I’ve ever used
The bubblebubs all in 2 candies are very easy to use. We have had great success effectively using them for more than 12 months. The side snaps make them very easy to put on, even as my child wiggles. I also really like all the adorable prints they come in. In terms of effectiveness I find they hold better than disposable nappies!

Best cloth nappies in the market
I have used different popular brands on my bubs but by far the candies have been the best ones that by now I am only using. Only have to change my bubs nappies every 3 hours which makes it as competitive as the commercial ones. The night boosters are as fantastic

Has anyone had issues with their baby getting Thrush or severe Nappy Rash because of Reusable Nappies? Would love to buy these when the time comes but have heard stories from a few people that their baby got the above and switched to disposables.
2 answers
It is usually the opposite way around, your child is more likely to get nappy rash from disposables due to the materials in them. I switched from disposables to cloth when my son was 2 months and haven’t looked back, he is almost 10 months now and we have not had a single bout of nappy rash since he has been in cloth
Never had thrush or nappy rash in 19months. As long as you use a good washing routine with your nappies that throughly cleans them (ie warm/hot water + good quality detergent etc). in the few times I’ve use disposables they seem to irritate bubs skin and make her red, like they draw too much moisture from her skin.
Debasked
How many bamboo liners do you need and do you buy them separately from the shell?
3 answers
My candies came with a bamboo snap in trifold and lay in booster. You can purchase these separately- I think the idea being that u can remove the inserts and reuse the shell. My bub always soils the shell too so I never reuse the shell.
I was wondering about that. I am a grandma now but when my babies were tiny and breastfed the poo was very liquid and used to go everywhere! Therefore you’d need many shells. This would be very expensive.
I have 6 shells and about 20 trifolds and 20 boosters and that’s all I have needed for my bubs. I wash them every two days.
