Ridiculous underwriting
I was just refused income protection because of a low grade abnormal pap smear result that I recently had, even though it was deemed clear after a subsequent biopsy. I told them about the clear result, but this still wasn't good enough for them, makes no sense.
Underwriters need to look at their criteria as this is an extremely common result for women - doesn't mean much except docs will monitor. I was told "maybe next year if you get a clear result" - ridiculous as this isn't how pap smears work. Disgusted at the lack of knowledge and will be cancelling my current policy and never touching again.

Don't get a "no obligation" online quote unless you'd like to be harassed.
I wanted to review Budget Direct Life Insurance but there was no option. I had a quick peek at the site this morning and didn't finish my quote as I noticed it was much more expensive than through my Super.
These people called me from a blocked number nonstop while I was in the middle of a doctors appointment. They called 4 times in 30mins! When I finally answered thinking my husband must have been in a car accident because no one calls that persistently, it was just someone trying to sell me life insurance. ntment, and he still tried to keep me on the phone!! What a disgraceful and aggressive money hungry insurance company. You guys must be starving your workers for commission. No one wants that sort of harrassment. By the way, I have rental and car insurance through this company. I am happy with these products and with my customer service at these divisions.
