Re: Bulova Mechanical 96A118
Have owned this exceptional timepiece for 3 months now and have had adequate time to "live with it" a little.
To quickly clarify some descriptive inaccuracies, this beautiful automatic watch is 42mm x 13 mm tall and sits comfortably on most wrists (small and large) due to it's conservatively sized lugs. The metal bracelet is extremely high quality, comes with solid end links and possesses the most comfortable hidden deployment clasp system I've ever worn. Well done Bulova!

it appears white in most images is because of the way it catches the light. Beyond it being an automatic (no batteries to replace), the dial is one of the first things that drew me to the watch. It's elegant and sophisticated without coming off as garish or cluttered. The dial has wonderful "depth" utilizing three different high-end finishing details (subtle Côtes de Genève on the sub-dials, with both gilloche and finishing on the hour indices ring). The exhibition caseback offers a glimpse at the well finished movement (Myota 8247 with Côtes de Genève polished bridges). As for the blue hands, well... certainly the best choice for legability and sheer beauty. In short, this has proven to be a proud purchase and I've received many compliments. Accuracy is decent for an unregulated watch (between +15-20 seconds per day). Worthy, versatile and durable enough for everyday wear. An exceptionally good quality piece for the money. Highly recommended. Classic combination of beauty, sophistication and funtionality. none.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
