Best all terrain pram
Before my little boy was born I did a lot of research into purchasing the 'perfect' pram. I found the Bumbleride Indie over the internet and decided it was the pram for me. At the time, the Bumbleride Indie wasn't available in Australia so I was a little nervous about ordering a pram that I hadn't seen in a shop.
One year on, I have absolutely no regrets in getting my Indie!
Overall, it's light, all terrain (I take it jogging 4 times a week), narrow (to fit shopping aisles), it looks nice, fits a baby capsule, there's a large storage bas...Read more
ket and most of all my little boy loves it! The Bumbleride Indie has some great accessories too. My favourites are the Footmuff & Liner, Snack Pack, Carrycot and Mini Board. I purchased my Indie through balkowitsch enterprise. Great customer service and fast shipping to Australia.1 comment

Great stroller with a few design flaws that need improvement
Ok, so this is the second indie i have owned in the within the last 18months. The first was the older model, prior to the improvements that bumbleride made for 2013. I had a major issue with the frame bending and the recline was impossible to operate..So ended up getting rid of that stroller. Since then i have been through a fair share of strollers, including the bugaboo cameleon 3 (which i sold due to some concerns about the dodgy recline method which does not offer a smooth transition when lifting the seat from the reclined position...It flew...Read more
up and my daughter flew out..). I was in need of a different all terrain stroller, and after some research i decided to give the indie a second chance due to the improvements in design that bumbleride has since made. Here are my thoughts on the pros and cons. Pros: * beautiful materials which offer soft and comfortable fabrics * huge canopy which with the new model now has a mesh peekaboo window with magnetic closures. * handles perfectly over all sorts of terrain with the wonderful air filled tires. These are much better than the ones on the mountain buggy swift which was another contender when i was looking at strollers in this range. * the indie i purchased in australia now comes with a tire pump and rain cover which is a plus. * the stroller is very light for its class - only 20 pounds!Similar opinion? 18 Months on- Still great
I purchased the Bumbleride Indie ( Natural bamboo ed) with basinet attachment 18 months ago when my daughter was born.
It has been fantastic. Used the basinet for around 6 months and since then just the pushchair itself.
It has been used on very rough surfaces ( dodgy North QLD roads!), the beach and for running and performed well on all terrain.
The only issue i had was one of the wheels buckling and having trouble finding a replacement.
It is light and easy to fold up or undo. It does take up a bit of room in the boot but you can also easily take the wheels off to make it more compact.
After 18 months it still looks new and i couldn't be happier with my purchase.

Bought Sight Unseen and No Regrets!
I did an exorbitant amount of research into buying my baby's pram and am thrilled to say that I love this pram!
The brief was: all terrain, less than 10kg, able to fit baby capsule, decent storage basket, 3 wheels, height adjustable handle, single unit (doesn't have to be pulled apart), fits into audi a3 boot and one handed steering... and it does all of the above!
The bumbleride manoeuvres with ease and goes beautifully on sand which suits us to a tee. My picky husband loves it too and it's so nice to have a pram that is different to a...Read more
ll the mountain buggies and bugaboos that everyone else seems to have! Thoroughly recommend purchasing through balkowitsch enterprises - [name removed] gave great service, I bought all the accessories - rain cover, snack pack, maxi cosi adaptors as well as the maxi cosi car capsule and the cost including freight was less than what I would have paid in Australia for a pram that still did not tick all the boxes. Inexpensive, goes on sand, light, great for running, looks fantastic Could have more suspension3 comments
Hi Catherine - what baby capsule do you have which is compatible with the bumbleride indie ?
I have the Maxi Cosi capsule - bought from Balkowitsch with the adaptors...

Missing gem in the Australian market
I purchased this pram online using one of the recommended retailers and so far have found the pram to be of high standard, reliable, user-friendly, easy to push and fold, lightweight (compared to similar competitors on the market - MB and BJ) and aesthetic. I purchased the movement edition and love the range of colours and accessories available for the pram. I also purchased the carrycot, raincover and snackpack - all of which are of equal high standard and reasonably priced (although am not sure of the AUD RRP as I purchased these products usi...Read more
ng an American website). So far I am a very happy customer and would highly recommend the Bumbleride Indie. Attractive, large carry basket that is easy to access, easy to fold and reopen, great range of colours, material choices (movement, natural, standard) and accessories Not available in Australia as yet - due for release in Aus this year (will be interesting to see the RRP AUD)8 comments

The best pram!!!
I bought this pram online, from the Bumbleride international supplier. I did my research thoroughly as I am a triathlete and I wanted a versatile pram that I could run with plus use on a daily basis. I run with the pram at least 4 times per week, not to mention using it daily as my daughter is only 6 months old. The pram has not worn at all, there are no wear and tear signs. The quality is extremely high and the design is practical. It is light weight and maneuvers extremely well. The wheels are a nice size - suitable for all terrains, the inte...Read more
rior of the pram has black leafs which my daughter stares at while lying down (there is a black and white picture study theory which is good for infant development). I have used and abused this and it's still fantastic. Overall I would highly recommend this pram. It's wonderful. You can go on ebay and find the supplier there.. or email bumbleride.com directly. Perfect, reliable, has not worn, easy to run with. Super fit mumma because of this pram! :)2 comments

Best for me and the kids
I do not have any children myself, but I do babysit for a couple families that have this stroller and I am in love. It would be so convenient for me to have this at my house. I would never buy a different stroller when I have children.
Everything about this jogger is fantastic!

Aswome pram you will turn heads in public pushing this modern pram
The stroller still has the roomy seat that is 13″ wide and has a 19″ seat back and a measurement of 23″ from seatback to canopy that will accommodate taller children. The padded, 5-point, adjustable harness, baby bumper bar, adjustable footrest, deep-strap-reclining seat, huge canopy and adjustable handlebar are all still there!

This would be my ideal stroller :)
If what MissyFit has said she's used and abused this stroller on a daily basis than this stroller should be for me :) I have brought cheap strollers that just haven't lasted or tired of as they seem to heavy to push and now I'm on the hunt for another stroller for my 19 month old as my cheapy is starting to pack it in. I walk my 5 yr old to and from school on a daily basis and need an all terrain stroller as some side walks don't have concrete footpaths need to push on grass sometimes and find that my cheapie stroller gets stuck or too hard to push.

This is an amazing stroller and I would love to have one for my new Grand Baby
I know people who have one and they love it. It is great for every day and also for people whom love to walk and even run - exceptional value as you are not only getting an upmarket stroller for your baby but also the ability to spend more time with family while exercising and getting fit.

Beyond amazing!
Easy to use, my children and even grandmother commented on how easy it is to push! very lightweight, folds up compactly, has carry cot accessory for young babies. Looks fantastic, and the Natural edition is 50 % bamboo so the material is very soft. Bamboo of course is also a sustainable product.
Easy to push over all different types of terrain. We live rurally and i use it on typical dodgy Australian roads as well as in the city and shopping malls. Price is comparable to most other models in the same range, (MB etc) but after trying most of these other brands i would go with the Bumbleride.
Ease of use, compact, good on all terrain, and looks fabulous! love the use of bamboo & recycled material on the natural ed,

Questions & Answers
Leahasked
Hi there.
Is the single indie bassinet the same as the bassinet for the double indie?
Thanks,
Leah
2 answers
I haven’t used them, but I believe they are different dimensions so not transferable. There is a single bassinet and a twin bassinet listed on the Bumbleride Australia website.
Gillian R.Bumbleride
Hi Leah. Jess is right. The Indie Twin bassinet is different to the one for the single strollers. Hope this helps
Emmalinaasked
Hi there,
Can you substitute one seat on the twin for a bassinet? The only pictures I can find either have 2 bassinets or 2 seats but not the 1 each configuration.
Thanks,
Emma

Does the Indie have an option to add a second seat if required? Thanks

Hi. the Indie is a single stroller only and if you need to seat two children, we encourage you to upgrade to the Indie Twin. We build our prams this way to ensure the best manoeuvrability and riding experience by all. Hope this helps
