Caffitaly seem to have a problem with the milk frothier in that they stop frothing. Is the problem taken seriously and are they doing anything to address the problem?

Well here we go again!!! 11 months later,....... and again the same problem!! My machine is not frothing again after having yet again purchased another one. I’m sure they do this on purpose. It fails just short of the warranty date so you can’t make a claim. Why doesn’t the company acknowledge my complaint.
Carmen . A.asked
Here is another complaint ... my Caffitaly milk frothier has stopped working. It no longer works. This was the second one I have bought and both stopped frothing. It seems to be a common problem, so why isn’t the manufacturer doing something about it. Very very disappointing and frustrating.

We received our Caffitaly induction milk brother 9495 for Christmas 2018. It's still heating but not frothing, and the jug has begun to turn when machine switched on. Sooo disappointed because we really liked this machine. Is it possible to have it replaced or repaired? Bev A

Unfortunately, there is a small accessory not inserted at the time of packaging, so the milk warms it but does not foam it, can you help me? I would like to have the small accessory, but I can not find it on the internet.

When using the matching the jug vibrates and slowly turns making a loud vibrating noise. If a tiny bit of pressure is placed on the lid of the jug it stops. Is this normal? Should I return it for a non faulty unit?

How would you describe the froth this creates? I like my froth smooth and thick, not all light and bubbly like I did it myself with a straw. Also, I've seen some frothers come with two different whisks depending on the type of froth you want. Is that the case for this one?

There are 2 whisks. However only 1 is for froth the other just to heat . My husband is very fussy when it comes to the froth. Its thick and smooth. You really need to make sure the jug is completely dry. We have tried other brands but would recommend this
Yes thick and smooth it is.two whisks it has.its the best one i think.

My frother switch on, blue light goes on, it heats but does not froth. Yes i pressed the button the correct amount of times. Nothing works, any help?

Occasionally our frothing disk has become jammed. Does yours turn by hand? If it does you’ll need to return the unit as the issue must be internal.
It’s worth returning and getting a good unit. I’ve had mine for two years now and still as good as the day I got it.

My 9495 frother starts and stop frothing the milk after a few seconds although the induction noise still goes on...can I do anything. I bought this frother from Woolsworth in July 2017.
1 answer
The "induction" noise you are hearing is most likely the cooling fan in the machine which stops the internals from overheating.
Since you bought the frother less than a year ago you should still be under warranty.
From the Caffitaly website FAQ (https://www.caffitalysystem.com.au/frequently-asked-questions):
All Caffitaly System Machines have a 12 month warranty period from the date of purchase. To view the Warranty Conditions, click here and make sure you keep your Proof of Purchase somewhere safe with your Manual as you will still require it if there is a claim.
Hopefully that gives you something to work with. Good luck!

My Caffitaly 9495 is not spinning. Press start button and motor starts but the frothing disc does not spin. Two seconds later the machine beeps three times. The motor keeps running and sounds normal, just doesn’t spin. I can move the frothing disc with my finger. Any ideas?
1 answer
The "motor running" sound you're hearing is the cooling fan which runs automatically when you press the button. If the frothing disc is not spinning and it follows up with a triple beep (which I believe is an error code) I would assume the machine is busted. Have you tried holding the start button on to see if it can do a cold spin?

my Caffitaly milk brother 9495 is not frothing anymore - anybody had a similar problem?
2 answers
Have you changed the type of milk you use. See comments above.
Have you got the "gear" shaped disc in the bottom of the jug? The "round" shaped disc does not froth, it just helps the milk to heat.
While running, carefully lift the lid a little bit and see if the milk is spinning. If not, the motor may be faulty.
Tell us more and we might be able to help some more.
I have the same problem - milk heating but not frothing. Still using the same milk - Norco full cream milk out of the fridge. Worked perfectly until a month or so after the warranty ran out. Surprised?

Why is my caffitaly frother not frothing rice or soy milk. It just makes it bubbly. It froths cows milk perfectly.
3 answers
Yeah, i tried Soy too, full cream milk works the best. i use my soy for breakfast muesli or weetbix .
Hi Kim,
Having worked at a bakery, I can tell you that it is the milk not the frother.
Full cream and low fat milks froth quite easily.
Soy etc are harder to froth.
A good tip is to keep the milk nice and cold right before frothing.

These are not milk. Soy beans and rice are not mammals. They don't lactate and they don't feed their babies through their teat. :0)
From what I understand, soy juice and ricey water do not have the proteins needed to produce a good froth.
I find full cream cows milk works best. The fresher the better. Although, I can't say I've actually tried any other type of milk. Goat or sheep milk may actually produce a decent froth. They do make a good cheese, I know that.
