Great mid-priced frother
I had been looking for some time to update our old frother, a cheap gift. I wanted one without the non-stick coating for health reasons, and wanted a frothing "wand" that did not have a shaft drive through into the milk compartment as I see this as an obvious point of failure and potential contamination.
It seemed such a machine would cost me $120+ until I discovered this unit.
It works great. Milk is well textured even with the frothing paddle cupped for less frothing. The temperature is perfect. And the stainless steel milk cup is a dre...Read more
am to clean. Down sides, it is a little slow and the unit itself has a loud fan noise that continues for several minutes after the frothing has stopped. (Caused by a cooling fan, visible in rear of unit). Bonus: I cannot find it stated in the instructions, but pressing and holding the button for several seconds results in a cold texturing cycle, great for iced coffees etc.Similar opinion? Good brother
A bit slow. I don't know if the jug is supposed to rotate - sometimes it does for a couple of turns. I think the on-off switch should light up to show it is on, but perhaps the noise is enough to know it is working. It does a good job. And I like the fact that the jug is removable and can be washed easily.

Good, but slow
Had a Caffitaly F02MK that, after 3 years of solid daily use, finally gave up. Replaced it with this Caffitaly Induction Milk Frother and have been using it for a month. Paid $45 from Woolworths.
It comes with 1 frothing paddle and a sleeve to put the paddle into when you just want to heat the milk. Nice, large jug for the milk which could easily do 2 coffees on the heat-only mode. You just have to press the button once to start, not the once, twice or three times depending on what you want like with the old Caffitaly F02MK.

t uses induction technology, if is VERY SLOW! Takes over 2 minutes so if you want a quick coffee, forget it. You also cannot re-use it straight away after it's heated some milk as you HAVE to wait for it to cool down before starting it again. Trying to get it to start before it has completed its cool down will just be met with 2 beeps. The other thing I find annoying is when it is finished, it will sound 2 beeps (1 beep when started, 2 beeps when finished). Those beeps are very loud. Quieter beeps and a light indicator (green/red) would have been better. On the plus side, the milk comes out a lot hotter than the previous model and has a nice texture. The jug is very easy to clean, being stainless steel so you don't get any milk skin like on plastic models. The jug is also supposed to be dishwasher safe, though I haven't tried this yet. I'm sure there's better milk frothers out there but for the price, it does what we want it to do. For all milk frothers that I've read reviews, it seems that each model has its problems and you'll either get a good one or you'll get a dud, and I've not come across any model that doesn't have its duds (even the expensive ones). Personally, I've never had any problem with the Caffitaly System (have both the machine and frother) so let's hope it stays that way!1 comment

Caffitaly seem to have a problem with the milk frothier in that they stop frothing. Is the problem taken seriously and are they doing anything to address the problem?

Well here we go again!!! 11 months later,....... and again the same problem!! My machine is not frothing again after having yet again purchased another one. I’m sure they do this on purpose. It fails just short of the warranty date so you can’t make a claim. Why doesn’t the company acknowledge my complaint.

Here is another complaint ... my Caffitaly milk frothier has stopped working. It no longer works. This was the second one I have bought and both stopped frothing. It seems to be a common problem, so why isn’t the manufacturer doing something about it. Very very disappointing and frustrating.

ce per day. Will buy a different brand next time. Disappointed, especially considering that our previous milk frother lasted 3 years and only cost $29.
