I had to go to my mobile carrier (Boost) and follow their instruction to set up the mobile data.
And it's all fine now.

I had the same issue. Telstra has this page on how to set it up. http://mobilesupport.telstra.com.au/samsung/galaxy-s5/internet-entertainment/set-up-your-phone-for-internet/
Hope it helps others.

I had to send 2 of their phones back for similar issues and am now waiting (over a month) for my 2nd replacement phone. i have had to get consumer affairs involved as they are just lying and deceitful. they said they had sent the phone on the 29th november but couldn't provide a tracking number! then on the 7th I got an email saying the phone had been sent but couldn't provide a tracking number... i am still waiting. They are a dodgy company selling rebadged phones given that both my "never used" phones were rebadged in singapore and the replacement phone number 1 had a screw missing and was in Chinese. They have refused to get back to consumer trading too... please report them to your local consumer trading office... they need to be shut down. It is almost guaranteed that you did not get a new unused phone.

Hi there, received my Samsung s5 but it seems locked to T-Mobile and keeps displaying an 'er05 sim error message when I insert my optus sim. I specifically asked if it was suitable for use in Australia and was assured it was. Anyone else have this problem? Is it fixable? Thanks jade

Try removing the sim and re-insert sim. If error still appears, try doing a hard reset by holding down the power on button AND pressing on the volume Up button at the same time until you see an option to wipe data or factory reset. Select the option. I believe I had the same error & was able to get rid of the error since.

please do not waste your money or your time. I have had 2 dodgy phones (one was a replacement for the first dodgy phone) and neither were Australian handsets. I am now watiing on my 2nd replacement phone which was supposedly sent on the 7th december but they company could not give me a tracking number. The phones all come from China and are mostly refurbished and rebadged products. I am still waiting to hear back from them and so is consumer services. they are not legit and are probably just dropshippers for chinese company... my handset was chinese, had a screw missing and wouldnt accept any sim card... (and that was the replacement handset) do not use them. dodgy dodgy dodgy

Wouldn't take the risk because if it's dodgy you will need Apple or Samsung to verify that it is before you can try to get your money back from CC issuer

I signed for my delivery myself but the courier did not ask me if I was the person named on the package so I believe that whoever is home can sign for the package.
