I have just purchased reusable pods and am looking for advice. Are there any stove-top grind coffees available in the major supermarket chains (Coles, Woolworths, Aldi)? All I can seem to find is espresso which is too fine.
Yes Aldi do Lazzio in medium and dark roast. coles do lavazza tierra and quite a few others, stovetop grind which is ok for pods...
Can anyone tell me the best fairtrade coffee pod/machine option? I want a pod machine, and have found the 'Coles Finest coffee pods 52g' that are fairtrade! Which machine is the most compatible?
Oxfam also sell Fairtrade pods, they fit Nespresso machines. They only have 2 sorts though, but you can buy them online, or at your local Oxfam shop.
Will gloria jeans capsuales fit map coffee machines?
No, if you have a Nespresso machine, gloria jeans capsules do not fit in the machine, there too big! I bought some today and was dissappinted that they didnt fit
Clarification - Gloria Jean's capsules sold in Woolworths showing the Caffitaly logo do fit any Caffitaly machine under brand names like MAP. The easy thing to remember is: Capsules will say ??? Compatible eg. Nespresso compatible or Caffitaly compatible or ALDI (K-Fee) compatible.
Nespresso fits Nespresso
Caffitlay fits Caffitaly
ALDI fits ALDI (aka K-Fee)
It's quite simple really. Would you buy 4WD tyres to fit your Mini?
Also, don't get confussed with the terminology Pods vs Capsules - they are not the same. Pods look like tea bags with coffee inside and capsules are usually a plastic/aluminium casing with coffee inside.
