Easy to use coffee maker
Makes a great cup of hot black coffee with excellent crema Simply to use with only one button to start the coffee making process. The descalling process can be a bit confusing and you need to refer to the online video each time to work out the button pushing sequence and the process can take a while

Great machine for coffee lovers
After replacing my original machine with the Vertuo plus I was amazed at the ease of use, I loved how easy it was to assemble the manual was easy to read and understand. Instructions with pictures detailing how to clean and use the machine were great. Came with 12 selected coffee capsules to try. Each coffee variation is barcoded so you don’t have to do a thing other than place the capsule in the machine and press a button the machine reads the barcode and pours the right amount of water for that capsule. However if you prefer more or less water you’re able to reprogram that yourself just but holding a button. It’s fun to use with an amazing variety of coffee to try I wouldn’t want to use anything else

Wish I had got it a long time ago!
We had just replaced our Nespresso pod machine at the same time these came out so I didn’t bother. How stupid I was to wait! Whilst buying pods we were shown this product and the coffee was outstanding. We left the Nespresso shop and decided we didn’t need one. Went to Costco and they were selling these babies much, much cheaper! Definitely a sign. Now I can’t live without it! As a black coffee drinking, the coffee itself is not only smoother but a much bigger and better cup. I wouldn’t go past it!

Customer service is dreadful
The machine packed up. I called Nespresso technical helpline on 20 May and was told they would collect it and give us a loan machine. A courier arrived 2 days later to collect the machine, minus the loan machine. I rang Nespresso to find out when it would arrive, the agent apologised and said there has been a mix up in the paperwork and a loan machine would be sent immediately and delivered within two days. all Nespresso when the machine doesn’t turn up: more excuses will be looked into and call back. Meanwhile I am living with a grumpy husband because he can’t have his morning coffee. On 31 May I call again and speak to Lee who says he will investigate. Eventually Angel calls and I repeat the story for the 100th time - apologies she will investigate. Angel calls back and says sorry no machine sent, she will arrange one and call Monday to confirm delivery date. So Monday arrives and I call the 02 number assuming I will get Sydney and there is a time difference I need to be aware of. The number however takes me to its New Zealand service centre. The agent says please stay on hold and I will call Sydney - outcome is Nespresso will not be sending a loan machine but will prioritise the repair of mine. I said prioritise? You’ve had it since 22 May: ah yes says the agent but it was sat in the depot and wasn’t delivered until 30 May! So still no date as to when ours will be returned! Do Nespresso even have loan machines or is it an advertising con?Purchased in December 2021 at Nespresso Shop for $300.00.

Why did I wait so long!?!?
I LOVE this coffee machine. I'm not a big fan of espresso so to have a pod machine that makes mug sized coffee is brilliant. It's so easy to use and makes no mess, no fuss coffee with a lovely crema at the push of a button. Cleaning is a breeze and also done with the simple push of a button. The used pods can easily be popped in a recycling bag sold by Nespresso for 20 cents and dropped off at one of their many recycling locations when full. out for people considering buying this machine is that it reads the barcodes on the different sized pods to work out which size coffee to make, from espresso through to alto, so you can't use third party pods in it the way you can with other Nespresso machines. The coffee comes out nice and hot but not too hot to drink straight away, so if you add milk to your coffee you'll probably need to pop it in the microwave for 20 to 30 seconds. Also, I got it on sale for $229 but there was an additional $80 cash back offer that came with it, bringing the total price down from $299 to $149, so keep an eye out for offers if you don't want to pay full price!Similar opinion?
