I love my bike!
I've had this bike for a couple of years now and, while I've had it tweaked from time to time, I couldn't be happier with it. She's a smooth and comfortable ride with a comfy seat and great suspension and I daily ride from St Kilda Melbourne to the CBD and back. While I definitely don't break any records on the speed front, I get to and from work safety and pretty much in the same time it would take on a tram. And it's a lovely way to start and end the day! Sturdy and easy to take. Love it!

Bike ok, service terrible
Bought this bike for Christmas last year. I rode it a fair bit and it was fine, was comfortable enough. But 7th gear did not work, back wheel was buckled so I had difficulty getting brakes to not scrape constantly and the rubber grip kept sliding off while riding. Was disappointed to find out had to take back to Big W to repair it under warranty, I had thought a bike shop would be able to. Big W were useless, Initially they told me they dont repair them, I had to get Diamondback to do it. Then when i sorted that out, they said if it cant be re...Read more
paired they would give me a refund. Which i guess if ok, but it's not a difficult job to repair, surely a bike technician could fix it. Now they have had my bike for three weeks and it is missing, no one logged a repair on it and the bike has totally disappeared. Have spoken to 4 different managers who say they will look into it and no one has called back, no one can find the bike, no one is very helpful. Would not recommend buying this back bike firstly, or a bike from Big W at all. Very bad service from Big W, bike still missing.1 comment

Great bike, comfy and easy to ride
I've had this bike for about 6 months and I just love it. The ride is smooth and comfy, the rear rack is handy for when I go to the shops and I think it's stylish too. The only drawback, if I had to choose one is that it only has 7 gears - which is better than 3, I guess and the gear shift can be a bit clangy but that Said I haven't ridden a bike yet with a nice smooth gear shift - and I've ridden lots.
I think this is the perfect about town commuter style bike - not an off-roader and not a street race bike but a stylish, practical ride.
Stylish with a smooth ride
Gear shift could be better.

This review is about Big W. Its not about the bike. Why is it on this board? By the way, it sounds like an incredibly frustrating experience. I won't buy from them. Good heads up. Appreciate it. And, good luck!
