No relief whatsoever for blocked noses, don’t waste your money. Left my nose feeling worse and with a painful sinus headache. Take this money off the market ASAP please and thanks

I took these when I was feeling on the mend - started with night capsules - I was hoping that these would speed up the recovery, but I tried them and it lead to drying out my sinuses, lead to a terrible sinus headache and I felt much worse!

I took the day capsules and straight away began to feel jittery and extreamily anxious. My vision became impaired and bright lights hurt my eyes. The night capsules practically left me in a comatose state. I threw them in the bin.

My wife asked the chemist for the strongest cold flu medication and was given Dimetapp . What a waste of money, no relief whatsoever . Save your money but whatever you do don’t buy that rubbish .

I brought these tablets with mild symptoms as I can get chest infections if I wait until I get worse. I've found in the past I get well quickly, with day/night tablets plus sleep. I'd never tried this brand before but pharmacist suggested and with mild symptoms I figured I'd try them. As it was morning I started, and continued to take as recommended. Symptoms worsening quickly. I didn't worry as when I take night tablets I always wake up with cold gone. Woke up today and I've a chest infection and significantly bad symptoms. I would have been better taking nothing. Instead it fast tracked getting worse. I've never had as bad a reaction to cold/flu as these. Never again buying this brand and off to pharmacist to get something that works.

I had flue and bought this from Chemist warehouse. It worked fast and shortly after taking the first two tablets I felt much better.

These things are awful, made me feel jittery and bad all day, with sore kidneys.
The old ones were ten times better, with codeine and pseudoepedrine, probably better for you too, less artificial at least. And they worked.
I threw the rest of the packet of this rubbish away, stupid nanny state

Well, I've tried many a capsules claiming to do good but none worked on me more than Dimetapp. Every winter after struggling on my own to let the flu settle down, I usually have to turn to these before I feel stable. They work tremendously well even when I have fever like symptoms due to cold, flu, and ache. Tried and trusted name for me. As the earlier reviewer mentioned, the orange capsules (night ones) tend to get used up quickly than the blue ones. I've noticed that the blue capsules don't seem to work on me as well.
Very effective non drowsy doesn't feel like a medicine per se.
The blue capsules don't seem to work that well. I'd like them to introduce "Night only" capsule pack for those who prefer the orange ones better.

If you need something to wipe away the effects of a cold or flu then this is the one to take. The liquid capsules mean the medication is absorbed quickly and efficiently and you feel much better sooner!!
These are my favourite cold and flu medicine on the market. Very quick and fast acting, relieved you of aches and pains, fever and dries a runny nose.
Can be expensive and you always use the night time capsules before the day time ones so you're left with a packet half filled with day time capsules. I also sometimes find the part that dries your runny nose can make you feel a but funny.
