I see people have had problems finding the correct connector for the kitchen taps, have you supplied a solution?
I cannot use the kitchen tap due to the old style and it would not take the pressure. I bought a 4m extension pressure hose for washing machines / dish washers from Bunnings and connected to the gard...
Read moreen tap just out the window. You can purchase the universal tap connector on ebay.Has anyone had a leaking problem [ error codes E4] with model DWB-W1. If so, any help would be appreciated. Thanks .
Has anyone else had problems finding somewhere to buy the adapter that allows you to use this dishwasher on your kitchen tap? I've had no luck at Bunnings or Reece's Plumbing here in Hobart. I'm getting no real help from the seller - just lots of sarcasm about how no other customer in the whole of Australia has ever not been able to find a hardware store that stocks this basic item. Not helping at all so I thought I'd come here. I'd be happy to buy it online - which was another suggestion of the seller's - but there are so many I don't know which one would fit properly. Any guidance would be appreciated.
Our plumber supplied the fitting, will try to find out where he got it, cheers
Here’s the thing. I had the same problem as you initially even after visiting Bunnings and Reece Plumbing. In the end what I did was had to connect it in my laundry to the laundry taps by using garden...
Read more/outdoor hose fittings, not indoor plumbing fittings. It sounds strange but works well for me. What sucks is that Reece even said that these days the threads on kitchen taps are not universal like the old days, so finding the correct thread can be a nightmare. To be honest without the solution I found I would’ve either had to get a plumber in to bypass the kitchen tap, or, returned it, so I’m glad I’ve come up with the solution I did. It’s a wonderful little unit the dishwasher is - I love it. Finally, it’s very disappointing you’ve had sarcasm from the seller - other people *have* run into the same issue but have had to solve it without there help.Just a quick follow up - Jimbalaya, thank you - great to know that I'm not the only one! This is exactly what I've now done, it hooked up to my laundry taps instantly. I was going to get a plumber b...
Read moreut thought I'd try this idea first and it worked! That little dishwasher is fabulous. No more dishpan hands! Linda, thanks for the offer; please don't go to any trouble. It's all sorted.Does it have inlet and outlet hose or a single hose to serve both inlet and outlet purpose?
Yeah Charu it has 2 separate hoses.... one for inlet to feed water into the machine from you tap, and one outlet hose that goes into you drain/down your sink which is the washed/used water.
