I love this product! I have pale yellow skin and this was my first self tanner and I tried other self- tanners after that and I always come back to the Dove summer Glow. You MUST exfoliate yourself especially on your joints because it'll become patchy (i've experience it) also for me it smells nice and doesn't leave a bad odour. I just love this product everyone should go get

Patchy and flaky on my joints..

The consistency is quite thick, but easy to apply an even coverage. I have never had a problem with streaking, but I make sure I THOROUGHLY exfoliate before each use. I love that it even fades like a natural tan! After the first application, I awake with a gorgeous GLOW! After 2 applications, it's perfect and really accentuates my natural yellow undertones.Unfortunately, there ARE downsides to this wonderful tanning cream.

1) I have to wait HALF AN HOUR or MORE to put clothes on, as it takes FOREVER to dry and leaves me feeling sticky even ...

At first it was amazing but maybe I used too much, but after a week of use, my skin went really yellow/orangey. But I'm trying it again, and this time putting on less. I would recommend this too a friend, but what it says in fine print is that it enhances natural skin colour so maybe if you have a yellow undertone like I do, then it might not work so well.

I have really pale skin and didn't know how to fix it. I found this in the shops and it looked good but was also cheep. I DIDN'T want to go orange and when I went to bed was really worried. But the results were AMAZING I have a healthy tan and it looks great :) thank you dove

It works really well especially when you just want to take the edge off your skin, it smells amazing and it is so easy to apply, just like a moisturiser. I would recommend for everyone! It has made

I have never really had a tan and since I just lost a heap of weight (40kg) I have been changing a lot about my appearance. I didn't want to try an instant tan as I was afraid how it would turn out so I thought I would try this. Oh my god it is fantastic. I only used it twice before I saw it starting to work and I cannot believe how different I look. It has left my skin feeling amazing and smells great. I will use this product forever.

Beautiful product it gives a great glow have been using for a few years now, does take a little while to dry but so does any tanner. natural looking tan nice smell compared to any other tanner love love love it couldn't be any happier would recommend to anyone xx

Absolutely love this product.. I hope they never stop making it because I couldnt live without it.. I have tried so many fake tans and tinted moisturisers and dove summer glow is definately the best !! It is a product that is effortless and can be used to maintain a beautiful natural glow all year round for any skin type.. I have always struggled to get a decent tan though for the last 3 years i have used dove tinted moisturiser and am soo much more confident in myself as I am always looking sun kissed with that natural summer glow <3

First off I hate the look of fake tan usually! What's the point if it looks like you've tried hard? I tried it and was shocked at the natural even tone it produced! It smells great! And moisturises too! I use it daily and always gets compliments on my skin tone! I recommend it to everyone !! ( I use fair to normal skin)

I purchased this product so that I could get a slight tan prior to my wedding day without too much effort or obvious attempt at tanning. After using the product for a few weeks I am very happy with it. It takes a few minutes to dry and doesn't have a strong or bad smell.

I found that it works best if used for a week or so after exfoliating. Be cautious not to get too much on elbows or knees as it can build up and look patchy in these areas. I really like this product and have continued to use it even after my wedding day.

Takes a few minutes to dry so can't use it if in a rush.

This self tanning product is great because it provides the moisture for dry skin and the tan builds gradually as you apply it. I think it's great for people who have never tanned before and even for those constant tanners. It doesn't fade in bloches like many self tanning products and doesn't turn out orange. It also smells great on your skin.

Nice product gives you a good colour and smells quite nice but is basically a copy of the Johnstone’s holiday skin. Exactly the same really. Gives you a streak free tan and doesn’t make you orange. The packaging of the product is appealing it looks classy and elegant and also expensive and it looks good on your bath room window sill. I would recommend this product as it does the job and gives a good finish.

After only two applications my sking turned a glowing tanned tone compared to my usual pale self. Some other tanning products can leave a streaky or patchy tan, however if you apply this one well it does not. Sometimes it can get a little sticky under clothes (if it gets too hot). I found after a one night of using it my nails were turning a yellow colour, i later realised it was the cream building up underneath my nails. Which is very hard to get out, i still havent quite got it all out. So, either wash hands really well or wear gloves. Other than all that it's really good.

I think Dove summer glow is a Great self tanner, it gives a natural looking tan, its a great consistency to work with and the cream spreads nicely, no streaks or blotches. its an amazing self tanner, it slowly builds up when you apply it more every second day as it says on the bottole :)

First of all, it takes forever to dry. So sometimes some of it will stay on your cloth unless you go around naked for a good while in your house. Second, it has parabens, methylparaben in contact with the sun ages your skin... so a product focus on summer is not a good idea to have this kind of paraben in it. The third problem I encountered with this product is that after a while it smells, awfuller. My husband doesn't even want to kiss me when I put it on. The next morning when I woke up my bedsheets smelled like as if I hadn't wash my feet in...

This is only the second self tanning moisturiser I have used and I have found it to be okay. To me, it does smell like tanning cream but not as bad as the other one I've tried. It's easy to apply (just like a normal moisturiser) and a lot goes a long way. It's really important to exfoliate well before application, as the tanning agents seem to "stick" to patches of dry skin (such as knees, elbows, etc) and make them darker than the rest of your body. Fantastic! The tanning agent is so gradual that if you stuff it up on the first day, you can just go over it again the next day and by the end of the week, you have a perfectly natural-looking tan. You moisturise after a shower anyway and this lotion makes your skin feel so soft and it glows with health and a beautiful tan. And you don't have to worry too much about rushing to wash your hands straight after because it's such a light tan that even if you forget to wash them afterwards, it's not noticeable. Great product. Best fake tan I've personally come across. Love the natural, gradual colour you get. Easy to use as it builds up over a few days.
LOVE this product!! Have used many fake tans and this have been a favorite now for over a year. Nice even colour, easy to build up over a few days. Natural looking. Layering system avoids streaking.

Its an amazing product, especially in winter! After winters through and you have white skin, this adds a natural colour to your body. You can put it anywhere, and because it builds up the tan, if you make a mistake once or twice, its not completely noticeable!
It builds up over time, making it easier to choose your tone, and also making it look more natural to the people around you! You dont want people to notice you pasty one day and then completely tanned the next! It doesnt stain your hands too badly if you wash them straight away. It also moisturises your skin.
You dont know where youve applied it because it turns transparent before it goes tan, the smell is nice, and goes away after an hour or two.

The Dove Summer Glow product which claims to self-tan a person's skin in my opinion, does not meet expectations. I have tried this product numerously however it fails to deliver the glowing tan I had wished. Instead, I was met with blotches of partially discoloured skin in various areas, and the rest of my skin normal. I therefore then stopped using this product after I was met with these results. I'm sure on some people's skin it works, however in my case, the product failed miserably.

As a teenager who has been doing aerobic, gymnastic and calisthenics competitions for over 13 years, I am experienced at self tanning!
I have tried many self tanning products so I have tanned skin for my comps. Dove Summer Glow is the best. Often I would get spray tans up to 20 times a year for my competitions, around $30 each time.

With Dove, I can do it myself! Other tanners have left my skin very patchy and are hard to get off.
Dove fades like a real tan without the patchiness.

Feels terrible in the heat and sticky, but that's nothing compared to the results

I used this product one day then normal dove moisturiser the next day, then summer glow and so on. So every 2 days i use it to ensure my skin does not get too dark. This really maintains the tan on your legs ect. Its really good and keeps me from looking tanned without getting an spray tan. When you shave your legs, you have to start again with this product. Price of the moisturiser is reasonable. I would recommend this product to anyone.

I was skeptical when i first tried this product as i had tried similar products in the past and found that they always smelt terrible and i never really liked the colour they produced BUT this product is great. It has a pleasant smell and when used daily or every couple of days it gives a nice healthy glow and leaves my skin feeling mositurised and healthy. My only advice would be to wash your hands well after you use it so you dont end up with stained hands.
I love that this product does what it claims - gives a natural looking glow as well as moisturising.
