I have been trying to my credit file for the last 4 weeks . Tried the web site over 15 times, last one was on the weekend, I did it Saturday morning checked it again Monday it says still verifying my I’d. What a joke, all I’m trying to do is get a mobile phone. Did a credit check over 2 years ago and there were transaction that I had never done .Had to fight them for almost a year before they done anything.really bad Service do by the company and when you talk to them they have people that don’t understand English. Why do companies give them info when they are just unhelpful .

I'm not the person they are chasing but 4 years later...

D&B text and call me in batches 4-6 contacts every day for a few days every month for the past 4 years. I am not the person they are asking for and never have been, I've always been me. I have called them several times and been assured my phone number will be removed from their data-base but the calls and texts continue. I am seeking legal advice regarding obtaining a restraining order.

Dun & Bradstreet - Origin Energy's henchmen

I have never had a default registered against my credit rating in my entire life .... until I entered into a Payment Plan for a Hot Water System with Origin Energy. BIG MISTAKE. Six months later I have not missed one instalment, one payment however was a few days late and Origin Energy called in the entire Debt!!!!???? What rogues! what low life! considering I paid $2100 for a HWS which could be bought at Bunnings for $850 on an "Interest Free" contract with Origin Energy? what a joke. It's Interest Free because Origin mark UP the HWS by 100%!! I highly recommend you Ditch Origin as an Energy Provider and find someone with some ethics and customer focus.

I applied for a mobile phone plan - and Dun & Bradstreet had flagged my file (for reasons unknown to me). Checked with the (only) bank I'm with, there were no issues. I called and was told to request a credit check online, one that would take a few minutes to verify my identity - 1 hour later, I gave up. Tried another carrier and got the same response. For some reason, they have tagged my file, and because of their system I can't open any accounts, not even for a mobile phone. Staff aren't helpful, their standard response seems to be to go online to see what's happened, but unfortunately their site doesn't actually do the job. I have no idea what I'll do next.

Settlement letter not release for last 2 months

Unfortunate to deal with them as I paid the promised amount by first week of january and its been close to 2months and they do not confirm the payment and send me a settlement letter. My financial insitute is waiting for a letter for my mortgage loan and do not get any response from D&B regarding my letter. Looking forward to approach consumer affairs or will take them to the court if possible.

Having sent proof that I owe NO money they still keep hounding me

This company work for Telstra. I have sent this company and Telstra the proof that I do not owe them money. This proof was in the form of a letter form Telstra showing I owe $0 money as Telstra messed up. Yet 10 months later they keep hounding and hounding me; its a joke! If you look at Telstra and this companies feedback you will see why; they do not care in the slightest.

If you have already arranged for a repayment plan and you miss a payment then get harassed by these people instead of paying them the amount of money you agreed to, pay them $5 a fortnight. They can't do anything about it if you are making payments and they will not take you to court because the case will go against them. So long as you don't owe huge amounts of money this should work for you. I'm a pensioner and I miss a Payment every now and then and I always get threats from them. I pay the amount of money that I owed for the bill and not any extra fees. They can't do anything so long as you make regular payments no matter how big or small.

Awful customer service

Had to contact them regarding a debt for $30.98. I thought the debt was finalised a month ago and also disputed the cost. The person I spoke to was very rude and demanded payment straight away. I said no as I disputed the amount and was told I either pay it or they would ring, email and send letters non stop until it was paid. To stop being harassed I was forced to pay the bill to them, even though I felt the debt was unfair. The person I spoke to basically told me I was stupid and would rather be harassed than pay the extra amount. I truly dislike these types of people.

Even though I paid this amount, have confirmation that I paid the amount and got email from the original place the debt is paid. I still got an sms this afternoon while at work demanding the payment

Received an sms claiming they have a debt referred for recovery, it did not list how much or for what and it had a link to pay, I have no money outstanding on anything or any loans it seems like a scam

Unethical business

This business is highly unethical. They do not care less about the fact their incorrect listings hurt people. They do not reply or respond to complaints lodged. 6 mths with proof the matter was withdrawn signed by both parties and still have not expunged it. The Court provides them with a list when claims are lodged which they lodge immediately on credit reports yet refuse to expunge in a timely manner if at all when the Court advises them to remove. This arrangement with the Court and D and B’s unethical practices must be stopped.

Couldn't care less

I spoke to a women to discuss entries in my credit file... Well you think I was a criminal!
She rudely told me it's not her fault and basically abused me for not knowing how to sort out wrongful entities!
I asked what exactly they do for the money I paid for a copy of my file and she couldn't answer. I therefore come to the conclusion that they are not only debt collectors but also money scammers Taking money to share your private information with anyone and not willing to help when your credit report is wrong... Another gov scam just like equifax

ONE word DISGUSTING.
-They do not care about you
-They do not care about your situation
-They do not care if you are struggling

- They only want your $$
- They have a target to get to in a day so your circumstance doesn't matter
- They will force threats to make sure you pay a big lump sump
- They will again make up something to make you pay a big lump sump

This company is absolutely the worse and should be shut down!

I applied the credit report from them as the bank told me I had bad credit when I applied the credit report. They say it will take them 3 business days to provide you a report. After a week with several calls, I get a sample report!!! telling me I need to verify some info with them. After I called them to verify, First, they said it takes 10 mins, then after 3 calls they don't know. Now, I haven't gotten it yet and still waiting for it.

This company has disgusting "customer service". If their representatives don't know the information then they will flatly lie, coerce and provide thinly veiled threats in order to retrieve money. Their practices are abhorrent. The fact that government agencies utilise them as a third party needs to be heavily reviewed.

I reckon they have found your email address somewhere connected to him even though you may not have heard of him or remember him.
They trawl through every document they can find.
They tracked down relatives my son had used as referees years before.
And as for rude, Asian or otherwise, how many times do you have to tell somebody the person they seek has died. They just keep reading the script.
When I lodged a formal complaint about being contacted again I was told they had amended their records.
Apology? Only when prompted.

How can I stop these harassing phone calls first it’s was a recorded message saying to contact them and now it’s texts and calls saying I owe money. I have never had a loan so I know it’s a scam they never leave a message with my name so if they were genuine surely they should know who they are requesting money from. I keep blocking number after number and they still call. I’m really sick of this harassment. After reading all these posts with the same problem Does anyone know how we can get these stopped?

Still blocking number but now receiving text saying I have been approved for a payment plan! Now blocking texts too! Is definitely harassment. I am not going to call them and give my personal details.
