Hi looking to head up to the Cape in my Colorado with Dunlop AT 20. These tyres are great on the bitumen but not sure how they will go on dirt road- particularly concerned about stone damage/ sidewall. They don't seem to have a high ply rating. I am not intending to travel on the Old Telegraph Track but I understand that the main road can be badly corrugated. Any thoughts on how these tyres will go?

Recently had qty 2 Dunlop Tyre failures in 2 weeks. Last failure at 100km/h on a good road without warning. I have Y3309 on the side of the tyre, is this the date of manufacture 33rd week in 2009? The tyres were fitted new on a brand new Pajero Exceed 2018 with only 28813km. Have been attempting to talk to Dunlop about this with now success.

Thank you, found another number on the inside of the tyre. They were manufactured in 2017, a bit better but concerning with the failures experienced.

I have AT20's on my Volkswagon Amarok and they are very noisey at 85km/hr and above. All the reviews are saying they are quiet. Any tips?

Gidday Grant, I have AT22's on my Ford Ranger, personally they are not a bad tyre except in the wet, then they are appalling.
Have been doing a lot of research on Bridgestone 697's

Took the Amarok to Auto repairer. It appears my vehicle require a new front axle which is where the vibration was coming from. Apologies to Dunlop AT20's. Looking forward to some quieter miles when I get it back.

Just bought new tyres for my Toyota Yaris. What are the hairy bits of rubber all over them

Nothing to worry about. this is typical on most new tyres as a result of the manufacturing process. These tiny little bits will go brittle and break off over a few months.

Thanks that's reassuring as I've been told that these look like retreads and not new tyres.
