I need to put new tyres on my MUX and was thinking Dunlop AT3 but am now totally confused. Some reviews say good in wet, some say very bad in wet. I am an older lady so can't afford top of the line but REALLY CAN'T AFFORD to lose control of my vehicle in any conditions.

I have them on my 80 series Cruiser and have never had a problem with them losing traction in the wet or dry . Whereas I have lost traction with other tyres.

Hi, i had them standard on my FJ cruiser and they were dreadful. Handled poorly, particularly near roundabouts and particularly in the wet. Off road performance was poor but this to be expected as they are meant to be more road biased. Ironic really, at least in my case. Wear was pretty average too. Plenty of scary moments in the wet and i am a careful driver. Ive been using Falken Wildpeak At3w for the past year and their performance has surpassed the Dunlops in every way. Another irony given they have much thicker tread and designed more for mud and off road. Also, the Falkens were same or lower price than comparable Dunlops. Noise was also better. There lots of good tyre models out there and couldnt say which is best. I just know that in my case the GRANDTREKS were not a good experience and feel that the nail i ended up with in one was a blessing in disguise.

Theyre multi directional so you can switch diagonally for better wear
