Best-after trying 100s

published

I am a housekeeper in a hotel for 7 years now, the amout of trafic in our common area baths in around 30 guest a day.the soap scum was a big problem for us. i think have tried EVERYTHING there is available to mankind.but BAM is the best i have found so far. I understand it is very toxic and doest not come in big bottles but it works wonders for us.Being commercial we can afford to have carbon masks and White pads for wiping afterwards. the trigger one is better of the two types.i wish they had commercial packaging but they dont.
P.S we have laminex and tiles, you have to turn the know on the trigger before you spray and make sure it sprays foam.
works

Ruins bathroom tiles

published

You've been warned stay away from this product it removes the shine and natural protection from bathroom tiles which then leaves soap scum and grim far easier to stick to them thankfully I realised this on a rental property and haven't ruined the tiles in my own new home it also makes the bathroom floor dangerously slippery and leaves a white soapy residue that takes months to get rid of
When I threw the 3/4 in the bin

Should get done for false advertising.

published

I bought this after seeing the tv ads and it does not work AT ALL. It just stinks and doesn't do what the ad shows. Even after scrubbing, the soap scum is still there. I cannot believe they haven't been sued by the ACCC for false advertising. Their ads are clearly doctored using computers
Absolutely nothing
It doesn't work, look closely at the ads, they are all computer generated images

Worst shower cleaner I've EVER used

published

Shocking toxic smell. My shower does not have too much of a build up of caked on soap scum, because its regularly cleaned. However my sons shower (in UNI apartment he shares with another boy) is the opposite.
I used "Easy-Off Bam Grime & Soap Scum" on both.
Simply did not clean effectively on either screen. In fact it made my own cleaner screen look dirtier & had no effect at all on my sons, even though I used it 4 times. No change at all.
False advertising.

Too toxic to use. Did not do what it is advertised to do.

Impossible to open the container

published

I have purchased this product and it is impossible to get the bottle to work. There seems to be no way to unlock the trigger spray and no instructions on the bottle so this just a waste of time buying this product. Half of the product is wasted due to expantion of bottle as I have tried to use the trigger spray but it is locked.

Stupid lid with no instructions on how to get it open.

I didnt like the strong smell, it was very strong! It didnt work nearly as well as they said on the tv ad, and I wont be buying it again because of its ineffectiveness and high price.
I bought this product because of its commercials on tv, and how they guy screams that it really works. No, it really didnt!
It is very strong smelling and doesnt work immediately. It is expensive and even on sale, it costs much more than the other cleaners. It didnt clean quickly or completely and I had to do a lot of scrubbing, and even then, it didnt really work.

For the price I thought this would work alot better than it did.Had to apply a fair few applications for the product to work,I might as well just used jiff or bleach because it would of done the same job at a fraction of the price.
cleans but not as good as i thought it would
Strong smell and a fair bit of scrubbing still

Exaggerated television ads are the backbone behind consumers purchasing this.

Well, Easy-Off-Bam isn't as good as I would have thought, sure it leaves surfaces looking clean at first and should be washed off after it has been used to clean surfaces if this is not done then after a while it leaves streaks on surfaces which don't look too good. Smell of it is quite harsh and it is harsh on skin.
This product works alright. However, it did not meet up to my expectations when it comes to its cleaning power.
Smell is quite harsh, can be damaging to skin. Gloves should be used when using this product as it can irritate the skin quite a bit.

I would not recommend this product. I found that it did not live up the promise of cutting through the toughest of soap scum, in fact I dont think that it cut through any soap scum at all. I would not use this product again.
I did not like this product.
Very strong offensive smell made using this difficult in the family bathroom. Works nothing at all like the television ads promise. I found it left a thin film on my shower screen which is unabled to be removed. It also did not cut through soap scum as shown on television.

I used the easy off bam oven cleaner and it got on my forearm and gave me my first chemical burn... I'm hoping it doesn't scar - but some feedback - the small corrosive logo needs to be more obvious and more importantly: the dynamics and mechanics of cleaning an oven require your full arm to be inside to thoroughly clean it... so unless your entire arm is protected these burns are so easy to occur. Either warn consumers better or use less corrosive ingredients for an oven cleaner.

We used according to instructions (including spot test) and our beautiful new bathroom tiles are now screwed. White stains all over them, cannot remove. Tell me how to fix it? RB

In my experience dark coloured tiles after cleaning do sometimes have white marks which I remove with Gumption and a light scourer, then rinse. I think it depends on what soap/body wash/shampoo you use and the residue that they leave on the tile

Jif. It's the only thing that can undo Bam's mess. It fixed mine almost perfectly. Good luck.
