Yeah mine does too. Perhaps the photo's here are a different version of the same machine made for another country?

Has anyone had their door seal warp? Ive had the machine just over 1 year and the water runs from the bottom of the door all over the floor and then I have to do an extra spin rinse to get the water fully out of the drum. Thanks!

Heya! I recently triggered the excessive foam absorption system. I'm just wondering if there was a program that allows me to drain the water without spinning the machine as when the water is moved it gets all foamy again. Sadly the manual can't tell me. I've tried selecting the spin+drain programme and used the spin adjuster to put it to no spin but it still spins it and foams up the water again. I want to avoid manually draining it as I live in an apartment.

How to open the filter after the little door in the front of a WM7PRO? The user manual says just turn it, but that’s not correct.

Hi, we have opened the little door at the bottom on the front and drained the water and removed the filter to clean out the filter, the filter is just plastic there is no filter mesh or anything to collect lint etc, we were just wondering if there is something missing that fits inside the little filter which is like a little plastic plug with a couple of layers too it, we just don't see how it can filter enything as it is so open, thanks Janice

Hi Janice,

Nothing is missing, that is how the product is designed, the filter system doesn't require any mesh.

Thanks :)

How did you get it open?! Mine will not turn left at all, it won’t turn right either, it’s like it’s stuck in there. I thought maybe it was an emergency only thing and would only open when you need it to, but it says to clean once a month so I have no idea how to open it if it wont turn. It’s as if it’s clicked in there with some child lock but I don’t have any child locks on the machine.

My WM7Pro is only 1 year old and has started leaking from underneath . The filter has been emptied regularly. The machine has done no more than 20 washes. Leaking occurs a little during the wash and afterwards. Feeling disappointed.

Hey Mandy, sorry that this has happened. Can you please try the following and if no luck, you can contact us on 1800 444 357 and we will assist you further.

1. Turn off at power outlet (remove plug from socket) - wait 60 seconds.
2. Turn programmer selector to the “cotton” setting ( at the 12 o’clock position)
3. Turn the power back on
4. Press and hold the “start/pause” button for 10 seconds ( audible beep will sound)

Mary

Mandy one annoying factor about the front loader washing machine is, when the cycle is finished you cannot open the door, you have to wait 2 minutes. Don't even think about just turning it off at the power point that doesn't work either. Sometimes you have to redo your last action such as 12 minute spin, and then got through the finish/wait 2 min. process. the lights go out and you can open. So annoying when you are trying to catch a bus ;-(

I’ve just purchased a WM7PRO. User manual and sticker on door refer to lock symbol but I have never seen it illuminated, even when the the door is locked. I’m assuming the lock light is above the button that says quick wash. Am I looking in the wrong place?

Hey Simon and Jodi,

Congrats on your purchase!

The lock symbol is for the child lock; there is no illumination.

Thanks! :)

Is there any way to override the heat action? I bought the washer for a rental property because of the energy and water rating.and didn’t realize it was going to heat.

Hi Di,

Just to clarify, are you referring to the hot water setting? There are wash settings that use cold water only.

Let us know if we have misunderstood your question.

Hi there just wondering about the water temperature. I see it only has a cold inlet. Does this mean that the machine heats the water up as i can see the machine has a temperature choice? thank you.

Hey Jodi,

Yep, you are spot on. Only connect to the cold water inlet and the appliance will do the rest :)

Thanks.
