Fridge worked fine for two something years. ( fan failed but I replaced with no problems)
The freezer hinge broke and the door fell on my daughters head.
I have an email train as long as my arm trying to get parts from evakool but I just could not get parts so I made a dodgy repair with a roofing screw to hold the door on.
Recently the fridge door is showing signs of failure around the hinge. I have emailed evakool asking for parts. I have sent pictures and videos showing the fault and they can not get back to me.

I Have owned this fridge for 4 Years and installed in a Zone Off road 21ft.6 Caravan and travelled all the Iconic corrugated roads in Australia It has never failed! and I Would highly recommend it.

This is an update of my previous post regarding the thermostat failures in my EvaKool platinum 210 litre.
I contacted EvaKool about the problem and despite the fridge being in it’s 4th year, Josh and Shane at EvaKool are, at no cost sending me a digital thermostat upgrade with pictures and instructions which should allow me to fit it myself.
Shane (the technician) assured me it’s basically plug and play.

A service person did ring me and we discussed the problems / issue with the fridge not cooling.
He explained what they had discovered what the problem seemed to be.
They then sent to me replacement mother board and controller, at no charge.
I was able to fit it myself.
So happy I now have a fridge that is getting down to temperature.
I have control of how cold I want it to be.
I would suggest to anyone having problems with their fridge not getting down to temp, give them a call, be patient and they will get back to you.

So disappointed in this company especially in this aweful covid time.Thanks so much!!! Rang H.O on sunny coast Qld, to get some advice on why the fridge suddenly doesn't work, its losing temperature only fridge not freezer,freezers fine. It was brand new and has been used for only a few weeks. It's been in the motohome which was in storage for 3 years, got receipts to prove.
We've moved back into m/h, it worked fine for a couple weeks then temp dropped. We trouble shooted and rang the mob that sold it to us,Sunny Coast Qld.. No help whatsoever....

Facts:
I have had 4 X DC 210s and every one has failed!
Our new fridge worked well for 3 weeks and now won't turn off and runs 24-7 and is killing our batteries!
We are remote and again can't get through to Evakool through their rubbish phone system!
They do not get how upsetting and inconvenient defective fridges are to travellers who camp remotely a lot. Our last failure was in the East MacDonnell Ranges and we lost 3 weeks screwing around to get repairs which eventually happened in Mt Isa.
Fact...never again!

We purchased our new fridge in 2020 fits perfectly in our van and looks great the only problem is how long it cycles for, sometimes it will cycle for up to 2 hours and the fridge has not been open for hours. This is a big drain on our batteries. Can you offer any suggestions.

Lots of examples of these fridges failing. The Evakool customer service technical support team were very helpful when my Evakool 140 PLATINUM died, but it was a terminal experience amd i had to throw it oit.
