Good morning Anne-Maree, There are a few different reasons you may see an orange light. If the run light is orange and there is nothing on the display the fridge is in standby mode and needs to be turned on. If the run light has changed to orange and the fridge is cold then it has just cycled off and will restart once the temperature raises a few degrees. If the error light is flashing count the number of flashes and refer to your user manual for troubleshooting. If you are still having issues please either call us on 07 5492 7777 or email [email protected] for assistance.

Hi there... This model is not released until next month. So no one could answer your questions as yet. I have the previous model and have still had no issues. No matter the brand, things can go wrong even with great reviews. So best to base part of your decision on the support feedback.

G’day,
Just got a brand new one of these guys
Was wrapped at first but really struggled with getting the temp down?
Troubleshooting problems all checked
Ended up freezing bottles of water to give it a hand
Got to 8 degrees and that was it after 2 days on 240v
Have I got a lemon?
Cheers
Matt

Definitely use the warranty on it and get it looked at. The week after I wrote this review I seemed to have jinxed myself and the temp wouldn’t go down from 9 and fan was overworking not shutting offf so got it repaired for free under the warranty and it’s back to being perfect again!

Hi meatybites,
Can't say I've experienced the same problem. But you seem to have found what the fault code means and as you've only used it twice, then your unit should still be covered under warranty. Give Evakool a call, I'm sure they'll take care of it for you.
