Love!
We've had this BBQ for approximately 5 months now and could not be happier.
Super sturdy with heavy duty plates including grill plate, flat plate and baking tray makes it very versatile and I often use it for roasts as well as barbecuing.
The side burner is excellent and super hot making boiling water or stirfrying super quick and easy.
Heating is even and adjustable.
The interior light is excellent.

Best BQ
We had the Everdure Ashburton for 13 years before we sold it. The Guy that bought it was beside himself at the condition of it. We used it at least three times a week. We cooked lots of roasts, steak, chops, bacon and eggs in it and we were very happy with it.
I also used the wok burner heaps.
We sold it as we are building and want to purchase the Evendure BQ kitchen and wine fridge.

13 years old and still going strong
I bought my Ashburton 13 years ago & it has never let me down & I use it at least twice a week. To those people who say their snags roll of the back, just level the bloody BBQ. If you can't keep it clean you're not trying hard enough.

Over priced BBQ
I have had my 6 burner Ashburton BBQ for nearly 4 years now. It is hard to clean and the lights inside are just a dim glow now. watch your snag's on the grill plate as they tend to roll out the back and it struggles to roast with it having large gaps in the rear of the hood plus the hood being so big. My LHS ignite pack stopped working last month and I'm unable to find an replacement. also the Vapouriser under the grill plate has rotted out in places. I do use it 2-3 times a week but feel it should be in better condition as it is. I'm sure you could buy a better BBQ for less money.

Let Down,
I wish I had read these reports before forking out $1400, but I went with the theory that you get what you pay for.So I expected the quality to be above average. On this occasion I was let down on Christmas day. With over 15 people to cook for I had the bbq going at around 150-180 C for about 4 hours. At this stage the controls became too hot to handle without gloves and also too tight to adjust. As a result I resorted to pulling the knobs off and using a pair of pliers to control the gas flow. Oh! almost forgot, the igniters are now useless because the batteries got cooked inside them.

Good
I got this BBQ Saturday put it together and cooked the same night for 20 family and friends. Plenty of room for the chops, snags, potatoes and steaks. Heats up quickly and cooks well. The men were impressed with the size and style and liked the lights in the hood. Clean up only took the time it takes to drink a couple of beers. If cooking with the hood down then cleaning under the hood after cooking ???? with out taking something off.
Cooks quickly, plenty of room, the lights actualy do the job.
How does one clean under the hood

worst BBQ i have ever used
the BBQ is badly design for cooking and cleaning. The BBQ in hindsight is extremely overpriced considering I thought I as paying for quality an innovation. it is impossible to clean and would fail a Health Inspection if it were a commercial kitchen. The flat plate is badly designed for cooking and if you are not careful food like sausages can roll off the back. the hood design directs the heat at the cook and is impossible to clean underneath it. Underneath the plates are delicate igniters which have failed to work. I work with a lot of BBQS and this the WORST BBQ. I am giving it away for free just to be rid of it.
expensive, bad design, bad customer support, faulty parts and hard to clean

The batteries that come with it are fully charged but two of them failed to work the ignitor. I checked them and they were fully charged but seemed shorter than the ones I normally buy. I changed them... Read more
to my brand and the two ignitors that stopped working, worked again. Two clicked very quickly and worked fine and the other clicked at half speed and still worked fine ?Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Will never buy anything from Everdure
When we bought the barbecue (probably two years ago) we were supposed to receive a dozen bottles of wine. These never arrived even though I phoned the company. The barbecue in not used very often as it is located at our weekender and is covered 90 per cent of the time. Despite this it is already starting to rust around the wok burner lid. In addition the temperature gauge has never worked.

VERY Disappointed
Tried to cook baked meats like I used to in my old BBQ which I had for 12 years, only to have the new one catch fire near the Wok gas line. Luckily a family member spotted the fire before any damage was done to our 8 month old house!! The follow up warranty 'service' was VERY poor!! Customer Service training is BADLY needed. The girls at the call centre were lovely(NZ)but the actual Austalian service people were most disinterested in any problem I might have had????
The LED lighting in the hood, the qualityof the steel, the cast iron burners
VERY poor customer service under the warranty, hot spots on the plates, takes a while to heat up and uneven cooking

Bad
bit dissapointed after spending 1500 on a barbque, more suited to less use and more cleaning.needs to be a spray and wipe job after every use.
its looks good and cooks ok
little difficult to get to back of plate with wire rack in,hinges on wok cover are not good, two of three ignitions are not working, one has melted due to over heating with lid down (my fault).corrosion starting after 18 mths because i clean with karcher, fat gets between lid and rear section due to way lid slides back.

Change the batteries. The ones that come with the unit are a bit too short I think. I put new ones in and they were a bit longer and solved the problem of two failed ignitors

Excellent
I was shopping around for a mid range barbecue and I came across this one. It is a quality product but the $1500 on special price tag turned me off. Then I went to Kambos (Perth people will know about them) and they would give it to me for $999. I said that I would take it!!! Also, this month you get a free rotisserie by redemption.
The barbecue itself does the job quickly and efficiently. Our first attempt was fish, roast potatoes, corn and garlic bread all done at pretty much the same time. Brilliant! The potatoes took half the time to roas...Read more

I use a butane blow torch I bought from Bunno's for about $30. Works way better than any ignition button. https://www.bunnings.com.au/gasmate-butane-fire-lighter-torch_p3171665

Good morning, the batteries in your ignition could need to be changed, this requires 3 x AA batteries one per switch, if this is not successful please contact our customer service desk on 1300 739 033 and one of our friendly team will assist you further. The team at Everdure.
Hi Alexis, would it be possible to ask for the length measurements of the three door handles and the length measurement of the handle that opens the hood please
I’m away and desperately seeking these measurements
Thanks Tony
