Original Review 5 stars - We decided to get a heat pump for Sep lockdown annual leave. It's been in for 5 days and we are not disappointed. We are obviously loosing heat overnight and will take the good advice of Josh and order the blanket today. Josh was very patient in answering all of my questions and the admin staff went above and beyond to ensure the QLD/NSW border closure wasn't going to push out our install deadline. Have a little issue with the control screen being loose and wobbly, Matt from service has already sent a new one and assig...
Read morened a service guy to come and replace it. My advice, get the wifi controller upgrade and save yourself the hassle of going out to check on the temp constantly. Edit 29/9/21 - Our ON and OFF timers only work sporadically. Working with Evoheat support to rectify but no solution yet. Be interested to know if anyone else has had this issue. Edit 13/10 - Control panel replaced twice and did not fix timers. Offered a new mother board that did not fit machine and needed to angle grind out inside supports and cut mother board, declined. New mother board found, at correct size, and installed today. EDIT - 5th April 2022 - Our pump has now completely failed. Some grunting and grinding noises and will not turn on. Incredibly regretful purchase and not looking forward to going around the the merry go round again of phone calls, emails, waiting for outsourced service team, service team needing parts mailed, blah blah blah. My advice is NOT TO BUY THIS PRODUCT
Purchased in August 2021.
We wish. More like freezing cold swims now and regretful purchase

I set the temperature at 30C over the weekend when we had the warm weather. I left it for 1 and a half hour and it raised the water temperature from 23C to 24C (with the pool blanket over). This is after I tried testing the heater on a day with cooler temperature. At that time, the heater didn't even raise the temperature by 1C after running for 2 hours. After complaining that there might be a fault on the unit, a representative of EVOHEAT called me that I have to leave the heater running for 2 days straight to get the desired temperature. And ...
Read moreby the looks of it, if I have to use the pool on winter, I need to run the heater everyday to maintain the temperature. I asked the running cost and he said it would be 2 units per hour. 2 units is about 50cents. You do the math. Such a big disappointment for paying thousands for a useless machine with a very high running cost. Not highly recommended.Questions & Answers

Read mores based off how much shading they get, or what months you wish to swim in.Hi, I have a 55K litre pool (9m X 5m X 1.3), with a blanket, sits in the sun for 70% of the day and I have 8.8kwh of solar in a pretty good position. Live on the northern beaches, Syd and at it's coldest the pool is 11c in winter and 21c in summer (didn't have blanket then). I looking for input on running costs, does anyone have any input? TIA
