Crap product
Tried one digital test first and it turned out to be faulty didn’t work. Second one took ages to kick in and give the result. Not buying it again. Big waste of money.

As many others have already mentioned, this product is no longer the reliable source it used to be.
When trying for my daughter I only ever got a second line when actually pregnant.
Now, just this past week, I had false positives on around 10 tests from two different boxes/batches. The second lines all come up within the time frame, are clearly visible and I follow the instructions exactly.
Very disappointing and misleading. Thankfully I have already seen and read how notorious these tests have become for false positives so I knew to not get my hopes up but it's sad to see how unreliable FR has become. And also the fact the company don't care, never respond to emails and are obviously doing nothing to repair the issues.
Outcome
My period is due in 6 days and I'm having all the symptoms I had with my previous pregnancies so I took a test this morning. My outcome result is NEGATIVE!! I'm not put off I just think I've tested too early. I will take a second test in 3 days time using the other first response test as two came in together in a pack so will see if my outcome has changed :-/
False positives
My husband and I have been trying again after a miscarriage in March. I'm a pee on a stick addict, so I bought 3, 3 test packs. Much to my surprise I got a positive, kept testing for a few more days and got the same result on all 9 test, blood tests were all negative. Probably won't be buying these again. Which is a bummer, these were the only ones I bought and loved with my past 3 pregnancies.

Bad batch going round
I had a positive result after 11 years of trying only for it to be apart of this bad batch that has seemed to have made it onto the shelves this year. I was overjoyed to say the very least! Now I feel like I've misscarried after the dr telling me bloods came back negative.
Seriously?
My husband and I have been trying for a baby for a while now. I had signs and symptoms so I bought a 3 pack of first response tests. 2 OUT OF 3 didn't even show a line!!! Why should I pay 15$ for a product that doesn't work? I did it the right way, checked the expiration date and it was all fine! [word removed]
Disappointed!!
I used FRER when I fell with my first and got a nice positive at around the time my period was due.
I have been using them this time around while we try for number 2 and I am so disappointed!! Last cycle I had what looked like a faint positive the day my period was due, only to get my period later that day. I wish I had tested with another brand at the time just to see whether it was the test, or whether I did in fact have an early early miscarriage. There was no mistaking there was a faint faint second line.
I thought I'd give FRER the bene
... Read morefit of the doubt and bought a heap recently to keep on hand at home. I tested just recently and low and behold, theres a second line! Very faint but I could see pink and a line. I waited to test the next day but the result was negative. I have pulled apart the first test and there is a circle indent in the test strip!! From what I can gather, the circle filled with some of the dye and it could be seen through the screen as looking exactly like a second line. You shouldn't have to pull a test apart to see whether its positive or not!!! When I wrote to First response last time, they did make a good point - "if you need to squint or are confused whether there is a second line, take it as a negative and try another test in a few days". However when you are really trying for a baby, you want to see results and you want to believe them!! It is VERY disheartening when you begin to feel optimistic and excited that maybe you are in the early stages of pregnancy, only to test again the next day and find a negative result. You also shouldn't have to feel you need to pull a test apart just to 'double check' whether it is a positive or just an indent line. Its not good FRER! I hope you fix up these indent line problems quick smart.
Questionnable
have used these tests previously and they have shown up a clear positive early on but brought 3 tests this time and 2 showed up negative and one was positive. Blood test confirmed ZERO HGC in my system so it was a definitely false. I thought false positives were almost impossible to get but not with these tests! Won't be using them again. Get better results with cheaper tests.
easy to use, clean large test.
false positivies and expensive.
Very Disappointing
Bought the triple pack. Tested over the course of 3 days, first thing in the morning & followed instructions exactly; 1st test was negative, second test following day positive (& not an evaporation line) & third test negative, (Exact same conditions & time of day for all tests, plus not on any medication that may have otherwise affected results). So had no idea what was going on.
Confusted, I decided to test with another brand (two pack), also claiming to provide early results & both tests were negative. Unecessary stress and confusion, for those of us desperately wanting to get pregnant. Will use another brand that can provide me with more consistent results next time.
Easy enough to use
Inconsistent results

False Positives!
Not the best pregnancy tests going around. I took two of these tests and both came up with a faint positive straight away so it was not a evaporation line. It did the same thing to me a few months ago also. I used a different early test the same day and it was negative so I think it must just be this brand.
Expensive, unreliable
