Experience can be invaluable when it comes to parenting, so ieatwords.com.au has gathered and analysed a year's worth of opinions from thousands of Aussie mums and dads to publish our Awards for baby products for 2022.

This year we had more data than ever to guide our awards process, with winners having to show high ratings for the award period (1st Nov 2020 - 31st Oct 2021) along with a high all-time rating and good feedback in specific areas such as Value for Money. The products awarded here are some of the greatest baby essentials you can buy, and we hope there's something for everyone! 2021 was a particularly great year for Redsbaby, who picked up three awards in three different categories, as well as Babybee, who received two awards.

3-Wheel Prams & Strollers

This Award was jointly given to two products, the Edwards & Co Oscar Mx and the Little Lou Trek. Both strollers are first-time ieatwords.com.au Award Winners, so we're interested to see whether these wins will just be the first of a streak for these baby products.

Both prams can be used from birth and can accomodate a growing baby; while the Oscar Mx comes with a newborn insert cushion that can be removed once your child outgrows it, the Trek has an adjustable handlebar, footrest, and backrest, so that you can make changes to comfortably fit children of different sizes. The ease of manoeuvrability for both products were praised by reviewers, who said that they were smooth to push.

4-Wheel Prams & Strollers

With so many good 4-wheelers on the market, we had to reward three prams which our reviewers noted as outstanding: the Babybee Duo (which also took out an Award in the Double Pram category this year), the Milly + Coup Milo, and the Redsbaby SKIP. These three prams have all also been Award Winners in 2021, and have each received over 400 reviews during the 2022 Awards period - so you know they've been well-loved by Aussie parents.

The highest points of praise for all three strollers have been their lightweight and compact design, their ease of manoeuvrability, and their sturdy build.

All of these prams can be used from birth and are suitable for a child up to 20kg for the Babybee Duo and the Redsbaby SKIP, while the Milly + Coup Milo can hold a child up to 22kg. While the Redsbaby SKIP is a forward facing pram, the Babybee Duo and the Milly + Coup Milo can be adjusted to be both forward and parent-facing.

Double Prams & Strollers

The Babybee Duo took out this Award for the second year in a row, and was the sole winner for this category. The ability to be converted between a single seat and a tandem seating configuration makes it a versatile unit. Above all else, reviewers loved the safety features of the stroller, and also thought that it represented great value for money. The current model of the Duo is the Duo2, which retails at $949.99.

Baby Formulas

Two products took out the 2022 Award for Baby Formulas, the Nutura Organic Formula and the Oli6 Dairy Goat. While the grass-fed cow's milk Nutura Organic Formula is a first-time winner, the Oli6 Dairy Goat Milk Formula has won the award for the second year in a row. One of the main reasons parents loved both these formulas was how fuss-free they were to prepare, taking away some of the stress of feeding their little ones.
