Most likely just my baby but this formula made her very constipated, gassy and unsettled due to the constipation. She seemed to like the flavour but the side effects were too bad. Switched to a different formula and within a day her bowel movements were good again.

My 3-month old loves the Nutura formula. He is exclusively formula-fed since one week old and has been using Nutura ever since, gaining nice weight and being a very keen eater. The customer service team is super helpful and the subscription makes it so easy and not having to remember to get the formula in the shops. Looking forward to the sachets becoming available which will come handy for travelling.

Coming home from hospital with breastfeeding not working for us we needed to pick a formula brand. Whilst the hospital supplied brand was ok, our newborn seemed to enjoy Nutura more. She has been on this exclusively for 2 months now and loves it. Very reassuring after the stress of having to move to formula.

We're thrilled that your little one was settled on Nutura Organic - thank you so much for choosing us and taking the time to give use feedback - our team loves to hear it!
The Nutura Village
We started with the Nutura Stage 1 Infant formula from the minute we got home from the hospital. Our exclusively formula fed infant loves this formula and doesn’t seem to have much of an issue with gassing being on this formula. Our baby has been gaining weight really well which might has something to do with the fact that she just loves her bottles. It’s good to know that the brand uses good quality ingredients made in Australia. The small spoon is not an issue at all and we can highly recommend this brand.

My baby was on aptamil gold for few weeks. Nearly every night had gas pain and just felt uncomfortable, being first time parents had no idea how to deal with such stressful situation especially seeing poor bub in pain. Until we decided to try this formula what an absolute game changer. Every since his first feed no more colic/gas pain. Baby eating and sleeping very well so happy :)

My four month old is exclusively breastfed but as of a night I have been giving him this formula as well and he really takes it well and enjoys it, I’m going to continue this formula when I eventually wean him off the breast, always nice to know I have it as a back up. He tried a few others but they were not as good and giving him gas pains, this one for some reason he just can’t get enough of, my boobs are jealous haha

I found Nutura while looking for an alternative to Blackmore's as the latter resulted in a fair amount of stomach issues for my bub. It was on special, organic and made in Aus and so we decided to give it a go.
Pros- Baby loves it, no constipation or major gas, usually available at Woolies so I don't have to search too hard for it. You need more scoops because of the 30 ml scoop but we actually like this as it allows us to give her smaller feeds without wastage, especially for top ups. Good nutrient profile too and pretty reasonably priced.

I chose to try nutura organic purely because I was looking for a formula that had a 30ml scoop. I found going up increments of 60ml were too big and wasteful as it was such a big jump.
I liked that nutura organic was Australian owned. I read reviews from this website first and majority were positive (in fact the ones that were negative were complaining about the small scoop - exactly what I wanted). The texture is fabulous (not too grainy where it would be difficult to mix) and the smell is inoffensive but best of all I’ve found my daughter wh...

I decided to mix in some formula as my milk supply was decreasing. I was daunted by all the choices of formulas out there.. gave belamys a try and my baby was fussy, gassy & had very hard stools.
Tried Nutura and my baby was a happy Chappy again.
Love that its Australian and organic too.
Thank you for creating such a genuine and natural product.

I breastfed my baby for 8 months but then I wanted to start mix feeding as he began getting fussy some days and I was worried he wasn’t feeding enough. I chose Nutura as it’s not owned by a big corporation, it’s Aussie made and uses clean ingredients and my baby loves it! He had absolutely no tummy issues and it has tied in really nicely with our breastfeeding routine. He’s now 10 months and having 2 bottles a day and I’m really glad I gave it a go, so gentle on the tummy and feels like it’s made by a company that really care about your bub’s nutrition.

Hi Kate,
Thanks for leaving such a glowing review! We're so glad we have tied in to your nutrition journey so well and your Bub is loving Nutura Organic!
Thanks,

My first was on NAN Comfort which was great formula for her. But my second one was doing green loose poops with NAN comfort, which i was concerned for. Both my kids has been formula fed because of my milk supply. I changed him to NAN optipro, which was given at hospital, but it did not work ar home. Then bought A2 platinum, which made him really gassy and Colicy. Then I read reviews of Nutura: I cant be more happier, this worked wonders for my baby. His poops are still green but consistency changed, I am happy. Highly recommended. Baby is happy after feed. Actually having more that he used to now.
Easy to prepare but frothy, need infacol to settle the bubbles. My husband also tasted it, he said its better than other formulas.

Hi Manpreet,
Thanks for taking the time to give us your feedback. We're so pleased to hear that you and you Bub are happier using Nutura Organic.

Baby enjoys no problem. However the scoop is too small standard 1 scoop to 50mls would be preferred i think most agree when preparing a bottle 6 scoops to 180mls takes too long is messy as the formula tends to get stuck in scoop when tipping into bottle...also a easier way to bigger groove to lift lid would be better...ive found it hard to open. All in all i like the formula just the packaging & scoop size could to be worked on.

When I had my baby only 8 weeks ago I had no milk supply and after trying absolutely everything, I knew that I had to formula feed my bub I was gutted. I tried a few other brands of formula for a few weeks and my son was always unsettled, I couldn’t do anything to calm him, I felt extremely guilty. After a lot of research I found nutura, I decided I’ve got nothing to lose but to give it a go, within his first bottle he was a complete different baby, he was no longer squirming around, bringing his knees up and hysterically crying. I couldn’t believe the change in him. I can’t recommend this formula high enough! It’s definitely worth spending those few extra dollars.

My 2 year old son has never been a fan of milk/dairy and it's often a struggle to get these into him. He tried this toddler drink a few times just as is and he wasn't a huge fan. But I can add it so smoothies etc and he has accepted it. Anything is worth a shot. Easy to prepare. Nice tin and easy to use lid.

Questions & Answers
I chose this formula over other brands despite being one of the most expensive formulas in the market (some other organic formula cost $20 for a 900 gram CAN and this cost $35 for only 800 gm CAN) because its made right here in Australia and has dual organic certification, but it caused so much flatulence to my girl. Her farts were loud and smelly. She would literally fart almost all the time. She was on S26 before this formula and she did not fart like this. She was very unsettled and would also cry most of the time. After trialing the formula for than 2 weeks, I contacted Natura via their website contact form, yet I did not receive any response from them. It looks like they don't care about their customers and only want to sell their overly priced formula. There are other organic formulas in the market, also made in Australia and are not pricey as this one. I am someone who does not like making complaints, but surely this is not the kind of support expected from a company that charges massive amount for merely a 800 gm formula. So I have switched to another organic formula (nature's one dairy) and it has not caused any issues to my girl. She is happy and settled. It is odorless and tastes as great as any other formulas on the market. It is also not as pricey as Natura formula. Its organic and made right here in Australia and certified. I will stick to it as long as I can find it on the stores.

Hi Anupama,
We've not found the formula to be particularly foamy, however formulas can become foamy due to the fat content....
Read moreWe suggest the following to minimise the bubbles: • Try stirring the powder into the water, rather than shaking. • After shaking, allow to rest for 30 seconds to allow the bubbles to come to the surface and dissipate. Be sure to burp your bub during and/or after every feed to release any bubbles that do form during the feed to help ease any discomfort. If you are concerned, we suggest you discontinue use and consult your Healthcare Professional. Thanks, The Nutura VillagePlease can I keep a tin of opened lactogen in a fridge?
Hi Richard,
Thanks for your question, it looks you might be querying us about a competitors product! I would check with their customer team, but generally tins should be kept in a dry cool, environment - not the fridge....
