Harder to buy with mistakes in delivery
The woolworths site is much harder to browse than shop. Besides available search, some items are very hard to find. For example hand sanitizer is clear gel to sanitize your hands without water. In search I got hand washers and after few changes I've got Glen 25 surface sanitizer.
My pick up consisted of wrong Turkish bread (not from bakery but from week ago) and for $1 charge for plastic bags (I thought that they banned these) I got 4 plastic bags and grocery could fit in single bag.

beef ribs
best beef ribs in Central Australia. wrote to Woolworths a few months ago to find out why the stock of beef ribs was no longer available. Woolworths wrote back advising they were trying their best to get supplies. Now back in stock. very happy customer.

Extremely convenient!
The website is extremely easy to navigate through and is very helpful finding specials. I like the variety it has to offer its customers as well as the support if I needed to amend anything in my order.

Terrible customer service in Woolworth Gungahlin Canberra
It was at least the 3rd or 4th time I got furious about the night shift middle-aged woman in self-checkout. I was checking out about 9 pm on 03/02/2020, and I asked for help from her because I couldn't scan my membership. She's really inpatient and ignored me completely. After about 5 mins she came back and asked me to enter the member number by myself, which was the first time I've ever met in Australia! I truly believe she treated me like this for a couple of times before, maybe because I am an Asian face. While she treated other customers with really good attitude:(
BTW she's short and Indian face(not sure whether she's Indian or not).

Terrible customer service in Woolworth West Ryde store
They mixed both discounted and normal-priced Phillips Sonicare products above the same price label on the shelf. On discount label, the brand only read 'Optimal Gum' instead of full description which is 'G2 Optimal Gum Care'. Majority of the items are not discounted. Customer service staff Pranitha argued NOT a lablleing error and refuse to give any apologies. Duty manager Elliose agreed with Pranitha saying she had no control over such situation. She abruptly interrupted my conversation with another staff and asked me to come back next morn...Read more
ing for store manager Michael at 9am(acturally opening hour is 7am so I assumed she needs a buffering session alone with her manager). She told me she never cares about online review. Astonishingly unprofessional and disgusting staffs in this store. Highly mysterious of the very way they got recruitment. It is likely a well-designed Wolli sales trick to seduce customers to purchase more expensive products with the illusion of a discount.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Love the online store and click and collect
I love using the online store and choosing click and collect. With 2 children with Autism it makes my life so much simpler and I never have to worry about meltdown at the store. I would definitely recommend them.

Woolworth's are misleading and deceptive
Ordered online for the first time at one price, and get charged another. Apparently the price all depends on what store you collect from. But they don't tell you this, and if they do it's not immediately obvious. Its not even about the money, but the feeling of being robbed. No wonder I told the customer service moron to **** off. They are either too stupid or don't want to acknowledge what they are doing is misleading and deceptive. I will never shop at Woolworth's or any of it's other businesses again. "That's why I pick Coles".

Saved my life since having a young family
Started using their click and collect service almost three years ago with our local WW in Balgowlah when we had our 1st child and have never looked back since then. Yes there have been the occasional mishaps (especially at the beginning) but overall a great experience.
The app recognises what I normally buy and prompts me with what is on special, I get to choose or easily amend my pick up time and I can leave comments for each item so the staff knows my preference. The order is always ready on time and you can notify them you are on your way (...Read more
that’s the only thing that sometimes doesn’t work but better they keep things cool longer). By now the staff also know us and are always nice and accomodating. Sometimes we even get extras (within reason) at no other cost. If there’s a problem, I find the store is much friendlier than the central call centre. I still buy separately my fruits and some of my meat but it’s still incredibly convenient - especially when compared to their competitors’s equivalent offer which is totally rubbish. Well done WW Balgowlah! PS: If there’s one thing I would suggest is the option to get notified when an item you want to order becomes available (when out of stock) and be able to easily amend your order accordingly.Similar opinion? Overworked, Understaffed and Rude Customer Service
I did my click and collect at Top Ryde Woolworths with my partner and regret it as it wasted 3 hours of my life. The front service station are completely overworked, understaffed and the manager of customer service said "she was doing me a favour" by asking one of the other staff members people to go to Australia post (200m away) to collect the parcels that had been delivered in the morning (it was 1pm). I came back 20 minutes and found out that my parcel did not get collected. The customer service manager yelled at me to leave and come back th...Read more
e following day as she was too busy to help me. I can understand why she had a short temper as she was so overworked, but as the manager of customer service I would have expected her to be less rude. Woolworths really need to consider hiring/rostering more people, as the lines for the service station had > 10 people waiting and/or cancel the Click and collect option as they just don't have the capacity to do so. Eventually customers are going to not return for fear of rude and unpleasant behaviour by overworked staff.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Delivered wrong item (worth $140) and missing items from my shop
We had a large online order placed including alcohol as we are having a party. It was supposed to be more convenient doing it online.
They substituted $140 worth of alcohol with something else that was not like for like.
We were missing important items like bread and nappies.
I went online and I can see the store has it available. They did not need to substitute or miss items.
I rang woollies online straight up they admit it was incorrect to substitute the alcohol as it wasn’t like for like. They are coming back to collect the alcohol I have to...Read more

Woolworths Ermington
Rude staff, the younger staff need a lesson in customer service as they’re very rude in the way they speak. Luckily I go there only for smaller items but would rather go to Top Ryde or Parramatta for bigger shops.

WORST SUPERMARKET DELIVERY IN ADELAIDE - DISGRACEFUL COMPANY
Received an online order, delivery guy stacked all the crates inside the porch and stood back waiting for me to do something with them. Aside from the fact I am not young and trying to lift them and remove the bags from the sides of the crates was impossible there was no room for me to step over them. Did one crate with great difficulty and then couldn't move to do the others. The delivery driver, an indian man, said nothing just stood and watched me. When I said you have to move them and hand them to me he was irritated. Made complaint he...Read more
re in Adelaide to a manager who was an absolute clown, pretending that his phone cut out so he didn't have to deal with my complaint. Was all for the delivery driver and couldn't have cared about me. I pay that idiot's wages, without customers what do you have. Will never buy again from woolworths. People need to stop sucking up rotten customer service in this country and do something about itSimilar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

We have been using Online Shopping for approx 3 years and pay an annual delivery fee. The service has usually been pretty good up until recently. We have been receiving short orders which is very inconvenient as we are shut ins. We are thinking that drivers are not notified how many bags go to make up individual deliveries. Maybe the drivers and customers should be notified how many bags make up the order. Could be written on Invoice. Would be a quick & easy check for everyone! Your comments please.
