My machine does not was properly... Still has like dirt and sand on my clothes. Obviously the rice has not worked.
Anyone know the fix?
Do all of your washes end with the same result? What cycle are you using? Is it too short? Maybe try using the auto selection.
No... Does full cycle. I do believe that maybe the machine is not completely draining. So I've just bought a new machine... $1350 later! But I will investigate it further... Maybe something like a sock has gone down into the guts og the machine..
I've run the machine in Prince only as well. Same result.
And on hot wash... The water isn't hot in machine... Hot from tap... So a few gremlins there
How do I increase the number of times the end of cycle alert happens? Not the number of beeps to signal the end of the cycle. This alert only happens once. I don’t always hear it, so I’m not aware that the wash is finished. I’d like it to repeat until I turn it off by lifting the lid. Is this possible?
When should detergent be added? I add at very beginning but there seems to be an initial minor rinse, drain of water and then drum fills up again for main wash. I’m worried I’m washing my detergent out before the main wash each time. Manual doesn’t answer when to add detergent.

Can you not change manually the cycles on a WA 1068G 2 to set your own temperature & choice of wash cycle.

Water is not flowing inside the tub
My washing always comes out with fine either lint or detergent on it. If the clothes are still wet it can be easily removed with a lint remover but once dry it’s near impossible. Every wash comes out the same - and dark clothes are a nightmare. I thought it might be due to using powder detergent but i’ve been using liquid for quite a while now and still have the same issue. Any clues? I am using less detergent than suggested but also hasn’t made a difference. It’s some sort of residue - detergent or lint. And i’ve tried different liquid detergents too. Same result… thks
I suggest you fill your washing machine up with HOT water, add 2 pints of white vinegar, run the WASH cycle and let it sit for 1 hour - then spin cycle. It sounds like you have a build up of detergent "scud". Dark clothes are always worse. Try using less liquid detergent

No, it has an "auto lint disposal" - traps the lint and sends it down the drain. You can order a lint filter via the F&P website. Many washing machines don't have "manual" lint filters these days. Lint filters don't catch micro particles (eg plastics) if that's what you're concerned about. But the hair and cloth fibres that are caught in a lint filter can by in a secondary nature trap micro plastics. I've recently ordered a lint filter.

Why does my Fisher & Paykel not fill up for final rinse. Just keeps starting to fill up and empty multiple times and the clothes are all bunched together at the sides. How can this be a final rinse properly to get rid of soap etc from the wash cycle. Plus I don’t think it’s ever worked properly on Automatic. It can be heaps full but only ever puts in either medium or low water.
Its probaly on eco wash setting.
I have trouble resetting to High water level and Warm, warm only works on Auto fill.
All my previous F&P had no problem with changing anything in settings.

I have been having the problem with constant unbalance. Can some please tell me, is the ring on the top and bottom of the bowl supposed to contain water. When I lifted the bowl out to clean it, I can hear water inside it sloshing around. This would have to cause some unbalance.
Hi mark. The imbalance is a very common problem for this model.(one repairer says he repairs one f n p every day) .This model is a lemon and should be on recall. Changing the suspension rods, at $300, is supposed to fix it but has not fixed mine. Repairer is coming again on thurs so see if he can fix this rubbish model. Good luck with yours, which sounds like a water pump or drainage problem. Good luck.

Did the repair man work out what your problem was with the unbalanced error.
I have this model also. Bought in Aug 2013 and in July 2016, one month before the warranty ran out I had suspension replaced due to a recall. Mine is not working again as was constantly having Bal on the screen but last Sunday it blew the electrical and nothing on the screen at all. I've just received the quote to fix suspension and electrical $668 plus paid a call out fee $110 just to diagnose the issues plus $35 for every 15mins thereafter so I've paid $140. The guy said if I'd called him before the electrical went would've saved me a lot...new washing machine tomorrow I think.
OOB can also be caused by blocked bowl perforations.
Try using manual water level, sometimes auto does not work due to the density of the materials and fabric.
Does anyone know whereabouts the out of balance sensor is located inside the 8.5kg model?
The suspension rods, look good, the spring is in place, as the whole top is not flat but all curvy, we have taken the top off and going to use the edge of the metal box to level too. But thought while we are in here, locate all the parts around the sensor. On last washing machine it was a little plastic arm thingy. This model nothing obvious in the guts of machine
How did you pull the top off? We can't see where to do it.
How do I remove the suspension rod from the bottle of the washing machine?
My machine keeps going out of bal and not sure what is wrong.
I did manage to take the entire top off but struggled to remove the suspension rod from the bottom.
You will see a small red circle at the bottom of the rod, push it down with a screw driver, it will click down
