Sad faceasked
I have been losing my hair all in the front of my scalp. Have been taking fusion for 3 months now very little baby hair is growing in the front part of the scalp. I am 25 years old. I need hair to stop falling and grow a bit faster. Will these tablets help me if I take for another three months?
1 answer
I would certainly persevere Sad Face. A Hair Fusion representative personally contacted me in regard to my query and on her advice, I am now using their alternative product 'Hair Skin and Nails' with no side effects. I'm still confident as I have a few sprouts. Hang in their and let me know how it goes.
Disappointed.asked
I started this product the evening before yesterday. I have developed a headache this afternoon. Could this be related? If so, is there any other productive can use? I am also slightly nauseous.
2 answers
I've never had this experience with the hair tonic. I've taken it for months now, two each day. I also take the Fusion skin, hair and nails which does give me nausea for about 30 mins after taking it. Rarely do I get a headache . When I can remember, I take it just before bed and don't have any issues.
This product really does what it claims (for me anyway) and I will continue to use it.
All the best :)

Gingerasked
How can Fusion HH have a positive influence on Alopecia Androgenetica? What would the recommended dosage be and are there any reviews/research results that prove it works?
1 answer
fusion h.Fusion Health
Hi Ginger. The Fusion Health Hair Tonic can work on any type of hair loss, as it may reactivate hair follicles that are in resting phase and also may act on the 5-alpha-reductase to reduce the effects of DHT on the hair follicles (common cause of androgenic alopecia). We have a great article on this topic on our website. You can also view testimonials on the website or contact us directly for further information.
Susan246asked
Hi there, I have had alopecia since I was 8. I'm now 32 and just had my 4th baby. I have lost a dramatic amount of hair after each child but usually changes cycle once I stop breastfeeding. My baby is 4 weeks old, my hair is still thick & full from pregnancy, it usually starts to deteriorate after 3-4 months. My questions are:
a) Should I start taking fusion hair tonic now? and b) Is it safe for breastfeeding? Thank you.
1 answer
fusion h.Fusion Health
Hi Susan. The Hair tonic formula is not recommended during breastfeeding. We do recommend a combination of Women's balance and the Kidney tonic for new mums experiencing hair loss. Both of these formulas may be taken during breastfeeding. Please contact us directly for further information.
Rebeccaasked
Hi there! For the last 12 months, my new hair is growing wiry. I'm 42 and have some grey hair which is growing wiry but the rest of my new hair is doing the same. I have taken silica which didn't help. Will your hair tonic work for my problem? Can't work out why this is suddenly happening.
1 answer
fusion h.Fusion Health
Hi Rebecca. The Hair tonic may help to improve the quality of the hair. You may just need 1 capsule twice daily if you are not experiencing any hair loss. I would also suggest to increase the intake of omega 3 fatty acids and work with a naturopath who can help you with any other possible contributing factors.

Susan Holgateasked
I am thinking about taking the Fusion Hair Tonic to arrest hair loss but I am concerned about the warning on the label about the potential damage to the liver. Please provide more information on this warning. For example, what damage can occur to the liver and under what situation should this product not be taken?
1 answer
fusion h.Fusion Health
Hi Susan. The warning on the label is a mandatory requirement of the TGA of Australia. We don't recommend the product for anyone with pre-existing liver condition. There is a very rare occurrence of some people reacting to the Fallopia multiflora due to increased liver enzymes. It should be noted: in all circumstances reported to us, liver enzymes normalised after stopping product. Please contact us directly for further information about the product.

MissLoz1988asked
I've recently started taking fusion health hair tonic & I just want to make sure that it only promotes hair growth on the head & not unwanted facial hair?
1 answer
fusion h.Fusion Health
The Fusion Hair Tonic nourishes and invigorates all hair follicles and can accelerate body hair growth if a person is genetically predisposed to this i.e. some people are genetically hairier than others. Also, If you are taking the Fusion Health Hair Tonic then there is a possibility that hair removed by electrolysis or other hair removal methods may grow back. The Fusion Health Hair Tonic contains herbal extracts that nourish and invigorate the blood and replenish Kidney and liver energy to help reactivate the hair follicles. You can contact us directly if you have further questions.
Cheryleasked
Hi, I asked our local health food store if they sold Fusion Hair Tonic and they advised yes but would have to order. When I collected the product is was not called Fusion but another generic name that I was told had exactly the same ingredients and that they could sell this product because they had a practicing health official on the premises ?? My question is, will I still get the same results ?? It cost $ 40 for a 60 capsule bottle ??
1 answer
fusion h.Fusion Health
Hi Cheryle. If the product is Oriental Botanicals Hairpro than it is exactly the same formula as Fusion Health Hair tonic. We have two sister companies, Fusion Health and Oriental Botanicals. The only difference is the label. The Fusion Health products are available in health food stores and the Oriental Botanicals range in pharmacies or through natural health care practitioners. Please contact us directly should you have further questions.
Bernadette Scavoasked
Hi, can you please tell me why you recommend not taking hair tonic herbal tablets if trying for a baby?
1 answer
fusion h.Fusion Health
Hello,
The Fusion Hair Tonic is fine to take if you are trying for a baby, we recommend to stop it once you do conceive as it is not recommended during pregnancy. This can be difficult as you don't always know when you are pregnant, so we recommend if there is a chance that you maybe pregnant, to stop it until you know for certain. Alternatively you can take the Fusion Women's Balance which can also assist with hair growth and help to balance hormones in preparation for conception, this formula is not recommended during pregnancy, so again we recommend to stop it if there is a chance you maybe pregnant. I hope this helps.
Mattasked
Is it ok to take fusion hair products while trying for a baby?
1 answer
fusion h.Fusion Health
Hi Matt. It is ok for you to be taking the Hair tonic while trying for a baby, but if a female is trying to become pregnant and is also treating hair loss we recommend the Women's balance formula in this case but as soon as she suspects she might be pregnant we recommend stopping the herbal formula.
Debbie Swainasked
Hi can you please advise of any side effects? Thank you x
1 answer
fusion h.Fusion Health
Hi Debbie. There are no expected side effects, however we don't recommend the formula for people with pre-existing liver conditions. If you have been diagnosed with any medical condition we recommend to speak to your health care professional first.
jemlouise93asked
Hi, I read a review saying that fusion hair tonic slows down the growth of facial hair so does that mean it will also slow down the growth of my actual hair on my head or promote growth?
2 answers
Hi there, sorry for the delay in responding. No apparently this is not the case at all. I read an article about it a while ago and it said that the same hormonal imbalance during menopause that causes loss of hair also causes hair growth in unwanted places. There might be something on it on the Fusion home page, too. My main reason for using a different product for my head hair loss was that it only required one capsule a day (and works great for me), whereas Fusion Hair Tonic required more and I'm not great at swallowing capsules. Nevertheless, I found that just one capsule a day of Fusion helped with my hair growth on my face, so have kept on with it for that purpose for some years now. Hope this helps. Cheers.
It seems to have stopped my hair loss. I am a 35 year old Male, been taking it for 3 years. Hope that helps :)
sanjaasked
Hi apart from possible hair growth are there any other benefits from taking the hair growth supplement? For example kidney and liver function etc?
Many thanks
2 answers
fusion h.Fusion Health
Hi Sanja. Thank you for your inquiry. Although the Hair tonic works by replenishing Kidney nad Liver Qi or energy from TCM perspective, it is not a specific formula that we recommend for supporting kidney or liver function. The formulas that are more specific include the Fusion Health Kidney tonic and Liver tonic.
It seems to help with circulation if that's any help to you.
