Excellent powder

published

Have been using this on my baby since newborn and it’s been amazing. No harsh chemicals or strong scent. Easy to apply and it cleared up little redness in my baby’s creases in the nappy area. Worth the purchase and highly recommend as there aren’t too many options for natural powders

Will never buy anything else!

This powder is amazing. I use it not only on my newborn but also my toddler and myself! Smooth and soft and only very lightly perfumed. Unlike other powders it doesnt contain talc. It doesnt make a cloud of 'smoke' when you use it which is excellent as it doesnt go to places that it shouldnt. As an example my daughter no longer sneezes when we use it as opposed to other brands/compositions ive tried. Will never buy anything else.
Brilliant product overall
A tad expensive but well worth it

Talc free and only lightly perfumed. Fabulous!

published

I purchased this product along with another two from the Gaia range and of the three, this is the only one that I can positively recommend. The others were too heavily perfumed for my liking - I like to be able to smell the scent of my baby and not a perfume. I was delighted with this product, it can be used multiple times of bubba with no claggy build up. I also purchased another container of it for the nappy bag I liked it so much! Gaia does not test it's products on animals nor does it use animal ingredients.
Talc free, cruelty free, light scent

A fantastic natural product!

published

I first bought this powder online (after struggling to find it in a store) after reading about how bad the effects of talc can be on babies. It is more pricey than your regular powder - after you take into account postage - but I have found it fantastic!

The scent is lovely and natural but can be a bit overpowering.

As the powder is cornstarch based it can come out of the bottle REALLY fast, so I have the holes lined up so only a little can get through because you only need a little bit of this powder.
Lovely scent, very good for your babys skin, you dont need to use much for it to be effective.
Hard to source, a little pricey and can come out of the bottle really quickly.

I don't just use this on the kids, the whole family uses it. It smells really lovely and keeps baby super dry in between nappy changes. If you use modern cloth nappies you can't use a lot of nappy creams but this is fine. I also love that its talc free, as talc is the most well known cause of ovarian cancer. Highly recommended!
A completely natural product free of talc. Easy to get ahold of at most grocery shops and quite a few pharmacies.
Wooworths kept running out of this product and it takes them ages to get more in.

I love all Gaia products and the baby powder is no exception. Its certified organic and is gentle enough on delicate and ezcema prone skin but strong enough to clear up nasty nappy rash. Gaia is the only brand that i trust for use on my baby because what they promote they actually mean ie. NO chemicals at all. I also like supporting Australian owned and made brands. Would be nice to see the baby powder stocked in more supermarkets and chemists to make it easier foe mums who wish to buy this product.
Great smelling with no nasty chemicals.
Ive found its not avalialble in alot of places.

Love it, love it, love it! It smells so good but it isn't overpowering. Like lots of other people said, a little goes a long way so it lasts for ages. I find talc can get a bit "thick" (if that makes sense) but this is cornstarch so it is super fine. But then it's really easy to pour out too much... that takes practice with any powders, I think. I recommend this to anyone in place of talc. It works well when bubby has a bit of heat rash under his arms and in his leg folds, too.
It smells great, it's easy to get, contains no talc, Australian and organic.
All powders are fiddly so I can't detract points for that. It's easy to tip out too much. Sometimes when I twist the top to open it it doesn't open and the lid just spins around.

A fantastic product that is long lasting and feels silky to touch. Its economical to buy and babies seem to like the feel of it.
I love this baby powder! A little goes a long way and the fragrance is great. Easy to find in stores and online.
When its fully open the super-fine powder can go everywhere really easily, so keep it well above toddlers reach or you will have little snow people!

Absolutely love this powder. I got my Mum to bring it over from Australia. The best thing for my baby's nappy rash. I use cloth nappies so am unable to use thick creams, this is much better.
Beautiful fragrance, talc-free, clears up nappy rash, natural
Expensive to buy in New Zealand.

I can't believe how well this clears up nappyrash, apparently it's the cornstarch. It is particularly effective in modern cloth nappies because it doesn't damage them - and it clears up irritation without suffocating the skin under a thick barrier cream. I recommend this to all my friends, especially when they have trouble with rashes. My mum also uses it instead of her old talcs because she was reacting to frangrances, but the fragrances in this don't irritate her skin.
Gets rid of nappy rash quickly, is gentle on sensitive skin, smells great, good container (easy to use), is talc-free and has no parabens or sulphates - oh and of course is Australian!
Nothing :-)
