I did a fair bit of research on Dashcams and finally embarked on the Garmin DashCam 45 model. I wanted something that works out of the box and could withstand any weather condition; and this was a really good choice. It came with a 32Gb micro SD card and it keeps recording on a loop all the time. It has got collision detection, speed camera warning, lane changing warning and traffic warnings! What more could you expect from it?!

I would recommend this device to anyone.

CAUTION: Garmin implies that a Micro SD 64 gb would work. Purchased same but does not work. Found the following information

Purchased a Scan Disk 64gb but Scan Disk was not listed as being tested by Garmin. Be sure you get the right brand. Back using the supplied card, works great but gives a minimal amount of time to be saved.

We bought this garmin dash cam 45 for our family car, it has all the functions that we needed, it can records all the drivings and the images are great. It is very easy to use too, capture excellent videos even in the night time or a rainy day, makes me feel safe.
