Good solid unit just one common issue

Overall, its a good. However like a lot of bbq's it quickly gets carbon build up on the flame spreaders (within 2 weeks) which means when fat drips down it creates flames. I have tried to clean/scrape it off but the stainless steel quickly rusts so not possible

Is there an alternative to the standard stainless flame spreaders? I have flare ups on low heat and find it hard to cook evenly as a lot of heat is at the back.
Also are there cast racks available for the galaxy.

Yep, once the fat burns on the spreaders thats going to happen. We bought a set of Grillgrates that fixed the problem, eliminates the flames coming through. BBQ Galore sells them but didn't have our size so had to order from the USA. https://www.grillgrate.com/
