This hair straightener is amazing
I am SO impressed with my GlamPalm. I have very fine, frizzy curly hair and I am amazed with how easy it is to straighten my hair. LOVE the fact I do not need to use heat protector beforehand. I don't know why but since using the hair straightener my hair is looking a lot healthier and always has an amazing shine and it is so soft and smooth. I have used so many different types of hair straighteners before and this one by far is the best . I thought I would keep my review until after the weather turned rainy.

I love this straightener, it's super reliable, doesn't really burn your hair, it makes it smooth and shiny. I use it mostly to curl my hair which is thin and super fine & straight and GP201 works perfectly.
If your hair is like mine, only use GP201. I tried GP313 and GP501 but the curls never hold. GP313 is mostly used for straightening and GP501 is great if you have a super thick and long hair.

ntly, give me advice, and turns out I need to exchange it to GP201. They delivered (that's correct, delivered) the new GP201 to my office/house without any charge. I understand that this might not be the case for everyone but what I am trying to say is that they care about their customers and they are more than willing to help! Hope the review helps! It heats up super quick, it's not as drying as the other straightener (the ones that I have used is Babyliss and GHD). Keeps your hair healthy as well :) Only get GP201 for thin fine straight hair if you want to use it for curls. GP313 and 501 do not work for curls for this type of hair.Similar opinion? GP201 - efficient and functional
I received my Glampalm as a birthday present from a few friends, so I guess I didn't have to worry about price. First off, I know everyone talks about it but the packaging is great. It comes in its own sleek black purse which will be perfect for travel. The standard setting is 150 degrees and it heats up very quickly. s well, and both are high quality. I've had mine for about a month now and no problems, must admit I've dropped it a couple of times on the tiles (oops) and not even a scratch. Don't see how you can really break it unless you throw it at a wall or something? Overall very satisfied and would definitely buy one for myself or as a present for friends/ family. Best straightener! Highly recommend it!
I purchased this product over a month ago, after being a GHD user for over 5 years. I had heard many reviews from friends who had purchased the GlamPalm GP201 and decided it was time for an upgrade.
To be honest, I did have my doubts but after first use I noticed how amazing the GlamPalm was! My hair felt and looked smoother than it had previously, it gives such a natural straightened look and your hair really does feel healthier! The packaging is very glamorous, it comes with a carry case and it's the perfect size, still compact, but does everything you need a straightener to do (even curl)!
Pricing is very reasonable, and the GlamPalm is definitely worth every penny!

Glam Palm!
I was looking for a new hair straightener as I've had my GHD for quite a long time. Was recommended to try glam palm by a number of people all who had positive experiences with it. The packaging was professional and nice, the straightener is really easy to use with adjustable heat options & heats up really quickly, you can also curl & style your hair with it and it leaves your hair feeling silky and smooth, doesn't dry it out the way that a GHD does. The service was excellent, it was delivered to me at my work the day after I sent the payment. Definitely a worthy investment and much better than a GHD!

The Best Hair Straightener I've ever used...!!!
I always thought GHD was one of the good ones since you've seen them in most Salons. But, GlamPalm has definitely changed my opinion on that. First time I tried GlamPalm was when I got my haircut at a Korean Hair Salon and not only after they styled and straightened my hair, my hair was so super smooth and silky and shiny. It comes with 11 heat settings. From 100 to 200 degrees.
The Clinic has a Clinic mode which is 60 degrees.

I have long fine hair and looking at buying a glampalm, to straighten and curl. I've seen other questions which suggest 201 to be best for my hair type. Does anyone know much about glampalm clinic and whether it's better suited?

Hi Liisha, we would recommend you the GP201 or GlamPalm Clinic. The Clinic will be released on June 7th.
The differences between the two are: slightly longer plates, nano-vibrating technology and clinic mode and of course the white with black plates design.

I want to straighten and curl long fine hair. Is the 201 the best option? Would like to work faster if the bigger plates would curl fine hair that will hold. Also is there a product you would recommend to hold curls for all day dance performances?

If you have long fine hair the 313, or the simple touch would ideal. The 501 is fantastic but it is more designed for long thick hair. I'm sure the 501 would work equally as good in your hair, but as the plates are that bit wider, the curls would possibly be wider.
As for holding curls, Moroccan Curl control mousse or Moroccan curl defining creamy (they have a heat protector in them) once you've curled wait for it to cool and give a short spray of hairspray. Just remember though putting a hair straightener on hair that has hairspray on it, is not a good thing.
I am a hairdresser and i would recommend GP 201 or simpletouch as your hair is fine.The curls will last longer when you curl with one of those straighteners.:)
For the hair spray i agree with Sunlily's answer.
