I did extensive research on all of the other top brands before settling with glampalm and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. I had seen alot of bad reviews for another brand that is common whereas glampalm seemed to stand out compared. I have had this straightener now for a good 6 months and it is still going as good as the day I bought it. My hair is thin and can can look very frizzy at times. The glampalm glides over it easily and gives it a beautiful shine and no frizz! I would say there could be more blog type reviews from people in Aus as this is where I like to look for some info on things like this before purchasing. But very, very happy with my purchase and would happily recommend to others.

I really like this product a lot and seems not damaging the hair this very important to those how using flat iron a lot and the need a good product to make sure it is not affecting their hair since there is some product they might burn the hair badly

My hairdresser recommended me the glam palm I actually thought she was getting paid or something to promote it. But as my hair is thin an frizzy I thought to give it a go and bought it from the website worst case scenario would return it back..
One and half years later is still with me, I don't use any spray or heat protector and do not have any split end I would get them so easily with my old straightener. I use low temperature and reaches it in 10 sec. Is definitely a good idea to consult someone: hairdresser, even the glam palm website they are very helpful and will give you any guidance to achieve the best results.

I have been using a number of straighteners over the last 15 yrs, including GHD and cloud9, however none compared to the amazing results i got and continue getting with the Glampalm. My daughter has very thick frizzy hair and it has always been hard to tame but not anymore

Purchased a GlamPalm after I read a few reviews that stated a GlamPalm was better than a GHD and caused virtually no damage.

No matter the sprays or prep creams I have used, varying the heat setting or sectioning my hair up into tiny/thin sections my hair does not stay straight or smooth for long with a GlamPalm. I would say 20 mins max, this is disheartening considering I have only a slight wave to my hair and is it fine/thin (so not the hardest to straighten).

After a year of denial I finally admitted to my husband, my "necessary" GlamPalm purchase is no where near as good as the results of a perfectly fine old GHD.

GHD has nothing on Glampalm! It is honestly like running a hot knife through butter with this straightener. I've never had a hair straightener produce so much silkiness through hair. It's perfect for straightening and curling! Best part is it heats up in less than 30 seconds as well!

And what's even better is, it's cheaper than the GHD! So so so worth it!

I love this straightener. My previous hair straightener wouldn't get rid of any frizziness, and if anything it would add to the frizziness! But this straightener completely tames my frizz and keeps it frizz free until I wash my hair. This straightener also works amazingly on low temperatures, I straightened my hair on 150 degrees and it held all day perfectly.

This company also has amazing customer service. I emailed them twice about different things and both times got a reply within a couple of hours.

Buying a Glam Palm has been one of the best decisions I've ever made!
I would recommend this product to anyone and everyone.

My hair colour changes more than the seasons, with the current colour being a bright plum.
This colour required pre-bleaching, and requires a semi-permanent colour mixed with conditioner to maintain the colour every second wash.
My hair has seen better days.

BUT FINALLY! A hair straightener that doesn't sizzle my hair

I live in the UK and delivery was very prompt. I used my straightner for the first time on a really windy, damp drizzly day so they were really put to the test. My usually very curly frizzy hair that looks disastrous after being exposed to dampness stayed poker straight and silky all day and evening. I was amazed and delighted when I woke this morning to perfect still straight hair. Customer service and enquiries dealt with quickly too. I cannot recommend this product enough

I had two GHDs and then a Cloud Nine which I was told were the best, don't get me wrong they are good but I have very thick, wavy, frizzy hair and it didn't stay straight in the slightest especially in Summer. So I got my google on, and found the Glampalm, it hadn't been out long in Australia and I could only find a couple reviews on it (usually sponsored as well) but I took the gamble. I have never been happier with a hair straightener, I would never go back to a GHD or a Cloud 9, it doesn't feel flimsy, my hair always feels nice after, and stays straighter for longer. Could not be any happier!

This is by far the best straightening iron I've ever used.
My hair puts up with a lot yet when I use my Glampalm it's almost like ironing a treatment through my hair.
Love the long cord and variable heat settings.
